His actual albums are like chapters to the story of his life and emotions and where he is mentally at that moment.

Nothing like seeing this song in concert and hearing thousands of people sing along. Truly a real feeling that all these strangers at the concert are in the fight against mental illness with you. My favorite part being when NF in concert flips the lyrics and says “just like me”.
I went to his show in Houston and this song was really good I’ve seen him 2 times before that and this last concert was the best experience by far he is truly talented and everytime I go I lose my voice bc I sing every song to the top of lungs he speaks volumes to me

But when my addiction gets me backed in that corner, Eben with over 4 years clean, I feel all alone and nobody would understand why I'm having the thought I am. Luckily for me I have a program and support group to remind me how many people are just like me. NF IS HUMAN and that's why I love his music so much!
First off Congratulations , As a recovering addict myself 17 years clean now and also suffer from severe mental illness this song speaks volumes to me , I love this song it is my favorite one out of his entire discography

before me and my gf were dating she was suicidal and there were a lot of rough days that were even harder since we're long distance. on one night I talk with her all night trying to convince her out of it and I did succeed in doing that but it definitely took a toll on me. I have trouble letting my emotions out so I normally just bottle it up but that time I just put this song on loop for an hour and just cried. it helped a lot and was exactly what I needed. I'm really thankful for this song and for nf being able to help us all through rough times.

Look into his origin story and see what molded him and the life that he grew up in. He raps his heart, experiances, his real life. He has struggled with mental illness his entire life from the life he lived but it is also what turned him into who and what he is today. Someone needs to make an actual movie about this man because his journey to where he is now is pretty remarkable and proof that negative experiances can effect everyone...
