This is an effective way to teach your lacrosse players the proper technique when shooting a lacrosse ball.
Most of the athletes that come through my doors don't have a good idea of what proper technique is when shooting a lacrosse ball.
In todays' video I go through two easy cues you can do to help you with your shooting technique.
As a lacrosse coach, the first thing you want to do when evaluating a player is to film them and see where they are at right now. Once we have filmed them and have identified some problems. Before we speak to them and identify it, we want to show them what it looks like when it's done properly.
A lot of players that come in here don't have a good idea of what proper technique is when shooting a lacrosse ball. The way that I do that at our lacrosse facility is trying to relate it to something that they can all relate to.
