This is so trueeee, lalo sa school namin Construction at Structural lang ang offered na specialization kaya I did go sa construction management. Grumaduate naman na pero I really want geotechnical engineering sana pero hindi sya available. Currently reviewing na at sana makapasa this November. Ako na tumitingin ng mga ganitong vids para ma inspire mag aral at e continue tong course ko na Civil Engineering at hindi mag shift. Wala e, di ko talaga to gusto pero walang choice. Kaya heto, tinatry na gustohin talaga tong course nato. Iniinspire ang sarili para may gana pumasok at mag aral. Pero hirap talaga. Wa akong naiintindihan lalo na sa mga formula at pag derive sa mga ito chuchu. Sa totoo lang gusto ko maging nurse, at kung papalain mag proceed sa pagiging doctor. Alam ko sobrang idealistic ng idea pero kung bibigayan ng chance ni Lord, kahit pa guro ilang araw akong di matulog kaka aral okay lang, kasi gusto ko yung ginagawa ko. Ngayon, ewan ko, wala talaga akong gana. Kahit aning aral ko talaga feel ko hindi talaga enough efforts ko. Napapa iyak nalang ako minsan kakaisip na pag di ko to e continue e sayang lang, at pano ko matutulongan sila papa at mama kung di ko to tatapusin. Wala namn kaming pera para maka shift ako. Hayy.... Lord ikaw nalang bahala ha kung ano yung plano mo sa buhay ko. I trust you Lord

I completely agree..Exceptions vs. Reality..Ibang iba ang field work compare sa academics..Sa school kapag magaling ka sa Math then most likely mapapasa mo ang Engineering as well as the licensure exam. However, pag dating sa field dapat well verse sa mga local standards at building codes including dealing with different contractors and clients.

Pag hindi ka magaling sa math sa third year plng malilinis kanajan. Dpt mahusay sa math ang mga nangangarap maging engineers.
Baka late bloomer ka :) madaming di interested sa math nung highschool pero magaling pala sa physics. Adv reading and solving ka, yun ang important sa engineering. Kami nga 5 years na nagstudy tas sa review lang natuto 😆🤣 kaya kung may passion ka tlga advance reading ka, kasi matuto ka naman through time.

Same, incoming CE student din ako. I'm average at math and it really keeps me wondering about kung kakayanin HAHAHA.
Almost 7 years sa college. Kung hindi siguro nag online class baka nagtatake pa ng hydraulics ngayon. Graduated last August 2021 and take the board exam last May 2022, luckily I pass the board exam at my first take. And currently working from home to a company base in San Diego California as a Junior Engineer. It is a long way to go. Dami pa kailangan matutunan.

first year college, studying civil engineer! second term pa lang (trisem) pero na p-pressure ako, i am more active sa essays rather than solving math. my totga courses is law kasi, kinakabahan ako kasi same sa 8:47, ang jhs/shs knowledge ko sa mathematics are not in depth and hindi ko na-use siya sa math ng college.

Hi. Can i ask what is the regulation for beams in a single story residential structure? I was told it was 16mm for beams because of earthquakes. My house was built with 12 mm only. Thank You.
