Making the FIRST Leather Case for 2020 iPhone SE
Kayleena got the new iPhone SE so we decided to make a leather case for it, and you can too! This case features a cool asymmetrical design that gives you access to all of the side buttons, a fold down front to check the time, and a charge port notch so you can keep your phone safe while charging with a cable. We used Hermann Oak bridle leather to make this iPhone SE case, and finished it with some beautiful saddle stitching. It works great!
Apple: **plastic tab for easier opening of the box**
People: **cut it with Xacto knife**
Also Apple: **plastic tab on the phone for easier retrieval out of the box**
Also People: **turn the box over so that phone flip falls**

On the topic: I want to make one for my phone as well, that's dope. There are some leather cases with felt, they look amazing.
I have friends that engineer for Apple, and they literally have a guy with a PHD in paper that designs the boxes well, and i see people trying to force the box open instead of just like it smoothly slide out. The unboxing experience is suppose to be made nice and enjoyable and everyone just goes at it like an animal lol

Hiya eric. If you have the "poop" bags for your pup that come in rolls, there's a small plastic tube its rolled on. You can attach sand paper to that and use it in arches and holes. 😉👍
i discovered them in our poop bags. So now i have a collection of them for various leather related functions.

@Corter Leather. Hi. Do you think you could consider making a video where give you a guide to different well known leathers such as this bridle leather I hear about all the time? I’ve heard of a few but it would be good to have buying guide for particular leathers and not just ‘veg tan vs chrome tan’. There’s loads on that already and I’d like to know some good leathers for beginners or most popular and pros and cons sort of thing please. Thank you.

I'd like to get into leather work but I'm struggling to get one of those Blockbuster cards. I think the supplier may have gone out of business.

A cool addition might be to add a strap across the top in order to keep it closed or straps so you can wear your phone around your neck.

Im new to leather crafting but I noticed when you stitch you have a loop outside the holes. (For example your thread around the charging port) how do you do that and is it just a stylistic choice?

Well not to be a dick, but I really love your channel and your content. But when you mean a case for a phone, I thought it would be something typical leather case which you get to buy. Really would be awesome if you could maybe make a video on case like that. This case is more like a pouch/case in my opinion 😅

Nothing against your voice or instruction but I miss when there was no talking and just the sound of the tools and the leather. It was kind of relaxing so I wanted to know if you're still gonna make videos like that.
We are! We made 150 of them and wanted to try something new. Now when we make our quiet videos people say they want narration, and when we make narrated videos people say they want quiet - we'll do a mix of both moving forward :)
