Episode 9 was incomprehensible, humphs first word was clear as a bell then immediately distorted to basically what was a mumbling rumble, had to skip it, and a few othere in the earliest ones, but given their age its to be expected, sorry for the whinge, as all in all its been fantastic to hear all the series and episodes, l only began listening to them a few years ago and was like finding a treasure chest full of gold when l found these just before Christmas got this one to finish then series 1 and heard all there is so thats both great and sad theres no more old uns lol. It took a lot of series before it sttled into its most recognisible form we all love, the voices sound so different in the early ones apart from Willys his voice has always been very distinguishable, l wonder why Bill Oddie left, tho on reflection he could be overpowering tho he was very good, the worst parts of the early ones for me were the continuation of the storys and the poems, really dragged and needed editing, but never mind it all worked out in the end, and l think the new ones are very good too.
