You can pinpoint the moment where Kongo goes from an "elder sister who's berating her younger sibling for making a mistake" mode to her actual Kongo mode. Say what you will about Arpeggio, but Kongo is one of the best-written anime characters ever.
I got shivers when I saw that purple beam Kongou I knew she was about to do something bad shit crazy and she did literally using her ship to bite another ship
I both love and hate this franchise. I love it cause it's so awesome. Action scenes are fantastic, story is absolute, Characters are funny as hell (Hyuuga is best funny), and the ships are so accurate to the history. I hate it because it makes me cry like a baby every god damn time. The music doesn't help. Nano's Last Refrain and Silver Sky are just so blissful. God damn it, the sad scenes just always get you no matter how much time passes.
Who told you so? Your Existence will always stay in my heart, No matter what you become, I will remember you and that's the proof of your existence, My Changed World You're the one who bring me here, If you doubt yourself I would lose my faith as well, Don't you worry, I won't Forget you, We are connected after all. -kongou to iona
Even though I don't know shit from this anime, I can say that Musashi was one vs an entire fleet and she held her ground for an entire day. Until that random beam destroyed her from the sky.
NGL, I want to see a new version of this anime and making it be Manga accurate. For the scene where Haruna and Kirishima making a fusion to become a mech. Just sayin in the manga, I-401 single handed 4 Myoko sisters and taken out Hiei while also go after Kongo afterwards. Iona in Manga built different Oh and Ashigara doesn’t have 2 Big Swords on her ship. But she does tries to submerge to kill I-401
Don't really get it when they said I401 couldn't have a mental model and only had it because of Yamato when her sisters had mental models of there own were they too Yamato?
It doesn’t mentioned much in the Anime but in the Manga. All ships in Aoki Hagane no Arpeggio are sentient beings. Despite they don’t have Mental models the reason why some small ships able to obtain Mental model is because of the High Flag Ship created for them which in this case, Yamato, or larger ships with Mental Model have ability to creates them as well. As it has been confirmed due to Repulse created Vampire’s Mental Model for her to make her communicate with Humans. Yes, in the manga there are more ships in the series, including Kriegsmarine, Royal Navy and US Navy. Yamato have ability to lend her powers to other ships due to she is a High Flagship. We see this from HMS Vampire fighting against USS South Dakota. Despite Vampire were heavily Damaged but due to Yamato’s Help Vampire can regenerate her ship into a fighting order just long enough to let human pass through South Dakota.
As well as also their processing power. Repulse indeed manage to build Vampire Mental Model but it wasn’t working well because of the processing power. In the manga as well Yamato only needs like 2% of her processor power to build a Mental Model for her escort destroyer Fubuki. Repulse nearly needs more than half of her processing power and with not very good result. After contact with the humans she can’t maintain Vampire Mental Model until Yamato let her use 2% of her processing power as well.
To be honest, I can't say I enjoyed this second movie (Cadenza?). More like, I don't get it at all. It's like, the only reason it is made is to show flashy battle animations. The original 12 episode series had somewhat serious plot and storyline going on, and then here they give us... student council members... =.=

Kongou goes from reprimanding her sister to outright aggressively kicking her ass

Pirates of the Caribbean Dead Men Tell no Tale
@@KohakuNachtfalkeand the funny part is Kongou did this before POTC. So this means Disney copied Aoki Hagane No Arpeggio
@@tsuaririndoku I know that

I will love to see this animated movie - series complete but I don't know where to find in full length
All the main guns move so fast
Theyre computerised vessels or so to speak, so they have capabilities beyond "real" ships
They are firing lasers and your concerned about turret traverse speed…
Get your priorities straight mate
