@KC Caballero Manga and Anime totally use different couse of story. Even US fog navy didn't get destroy by Death Star Kongo. It.s even have Lexinton Aircraft Carrier as flagship.

Missiles spam ftw, also this anime is really like Girls und Panzer. Both of them are totally unique that only they have used it. Like GuP, what anime other than that provided you with an actual tank to tank battles which is interesting to watch. In Arpeggio, their fanservice lies on laser and missile spam with very good neon camo.
Also guys btw, there might be a season 2. I know this is the ending but if you guys watch the anime carefully, when iona defeated I-402 and 400, I-402 was the only one who did not immediately disappear. Then, in the movie I think or the series, the crew found I-402's core right? So if miss mad scientist can do the same thing she did with takao, and I-402 personality is the same as iona, season 2 will be here. But this is just a theory. But the I-402 is one hundred percent true. So we might, I said might, get a season 2 in 2021 or later.
There can't be a season 2. The story diverged from the manga after episode 3 (Because not enough manga material... just look at the first FMA) and it has been an original story since then. The second movie delivered a wonderful conclusion, despite my misgivings, that I can't see a possible continuation. This is, unless, they remake the first season to align with the events of the manga (Like FMAB). There are other nations' Fog Fleet involved here that are against Yamato so we can't have her die here yet.
I think there is no way we can watch ss2 because all the enemies were defeated. if we have ss2 what would they facing with?? Another stronger enemy?? so it's really hard to make ss2
actually if you guys watched the credit scene in the last 30 seconds of the movie you'll see gunzou saw iona's pendant and said "Welcome Home" iona might be alive
How did they make the death of a human doll so f*cking depressing???????? I've been sitting here breaking down for 15 minutes this morning. They should make another show where Iona recovers but the only memory she still has is the orders from Yamato to find and obey Chihya Gunzou
