Back in the day when unloading augers were manual, I was opening a field with the auger on the outside of the field in the unload position - struck a damn telephone pole and bent that auger all to hell! Ever since then, I always try to open the field with the auger on the inside, even tho they are now hydraulically driven. Live and learn. I’ve also learned I don’t like the lock n lube - used one for about a month. It now sits in the bottom of the grease gun drawer at the shop.

The LockNLube’s work great most of the time I keep one grease gun with a regular end close by because some of the tighter areas the LockNLube’s just won’t fit

I’m not sure in hectares but in acres is around 27,000 a year is ideal although it changes every year
