i mean it shouldnt. The tv should automatically upscale 4k to 8k, and if u put 4k content on an 8k tv then it should just look like a regular 4k tv, it shouldnt look "bad" by all means.
Have a 4k Neo QLED QN90A(2021 model ), the upscaling processor on newer models in insane. 1080p looks like it's almost native 4k the farther you are away from screen , You can see it's not as good when you're too close tho. Still the upscaling processor was a huge upgrade compared to what they had in older models and probably will only get better in coming years.
I love Samsung... But the price of the devices breaks everything... I have only used Samsung phones, that much I love it... Then plz... decrease the price............

Well, a PS5 running at 4k in a quarter of the 8k resolution is not what gamers expected to have, honestly, it will be the same stretch we had with 1080 outputs to 4k tvs It will be good for 8k movies anyway

I think the next revolutionary tech that will be maybe the unbeatable is to find out how pixels can change and create their own colors individually , and by that rgb illusion tech will be just a history.

Probably with dlss 2.1 or 2.2 even a 3080 can.
I'm still getting 4k60fps on my 2080 @ high settings and rtx on with balanced DLSS in supported games.
