The no. 1-ranked Aledo Bearcats are coming off a devastating loss at the state semifinals in 2015 and are aiming to win their sixth state championship in eight years. Let’s go Aledo, I was a bearcat, my kids are both bearcats, it’s a great school. Remember playing for them too, had the same coach. Crazy.
Funny being from a tiny town we used to actually play them when they were 3a. I remember seeing their jv team bring 3 buses full of players. Unfortunately they blew up and won state championships and we shrunk and blew away in the dust. Just crazy to see what 15 years will do to a town and a team.
dsimondublin Here in South Dakota we used to play a team called Harrisburg. We were a small school at around 150 kids and they had around the same. We played in Class 11B which is the smallest of the 11 man classes. It goes 11B, 11A, 11AA And after I graduated they added 11AAA. Due to Sioux Falls booming in population so did Harrisburg since they’re a suburb and now they play 11AA.
This is a pretty impressive football facility for a rural community like Aledo

I hope you guys do another season of this school, this is tv worthy content. I’m from Iowa but ever since watching this I’ve become a fan and follow them every year. You guys need to follow a winning school, the last two seasons we’re kinda boring.

For a doc. like this, the academic side wouldn't draw many people in for the most part.
I have a 96 GPA and I’m not in the top 10 percent, I don’t know how that stacks up to other schools but I think it’s pretty good.... 😂
Duncanville would beat the hell out of this team and Desoto too and Carter would also beat the hell out of Aledo

I know it's technically a small town. However, wouldn't this be considered a bedroom community/"suburb" of Fort Worth? I'd imagine a lot of people that live here actually work in the Dallas Metroplex.

I like aledo whenever they smack colleyville silly in the season opener every year but it really annoys the piss out of me that we have to play them in the second round every year and they never let us win.

My god. I moved from nyc to texas for my junior year of highschool and literally took a bus back the city. Culture shock. Hated texas.

@@abigailjunek i came from the city and when i moved to texas it was like everything was soooo slow. I mean people were nice but it was just to slow for me. People there thought Dallas was the biggest city ever. I was happy grt back the city

I go to heritage and we said the same thing about Aledo. When we got to the game they honestly were not as impressive as I thought they were, I saw a lot of dropped passes and they seemed slow. I'm not saying they're a bad team but I was expecting a lot more out of the one the best teams in Texas. They beat us in very close game with their talent rather than technique. They had some of the biggest dudes I've ever seen. Watch out for Colleyville Heritage High School they'll be house hold name soon. SEE YOU NEXT YEAR BOYS! Week one is marked in my calendar.
KENZO productions well bud I'm an aledo grad class of 2015 and sorry to say they're the most impressive broke the scoring record only had 17 points scored on them through the whole season including state and back to back championships in my years there and they did beat heritage in a close game and football games are won in the 4th quarter when your down and beat up and tired and yet the men stand out in that 4th quarter there on game day
ColleyviLLe Heritage will never achieve anything athletically, every year y'all say this is the year we go to state in football or in baseball, then you give up 88 points in a football game and go crashing out of the playoffs.
