I remember the day you moved into halls of residence at Leeds Uni and you cried when you’re Dad left you. And we’re very homesick for most the first few months. How far you have come to leave for Australia. Thankfully with Tom by your side. Such a lovely couple. Very best of luck with everything. Your life ahead of you in England in the future will be a breeze x 💕👍🥰
I definitely had a moment like this the day I moved in here, it feels SO different because I know I’ve made the right decision and am so happy here🥹 thank you SO much for still watching though, this is so lovely of you🥹
Molly, my boyfriend and I have been living in Airbnbs for 3 years now! We find there are lots of long term options and the price is way lower if you book long term! Currently have been living in the same Airbnb for 2 years now in Norway. I can recommend Airbnb over all the local apps for sure! A big advantage is you don’t pay a deposit and you can pay monthly. Glad you found your place and excited to see your future vlogs living down under😍 We are planning to go at the end of this year either with a wh visa or skilled worker. Can’t wait!😍🏄♀️🌴☀️🌊
This hair is the one! 😍 Massive congrats for the new flat and good luck with work! Can't wait for this content! I am moving to Gold Coast on a working holiday visa soon so this is so helpful, thank you :)
It’s crazy how life works your vid came up about sixth form and why you did not like it I’m currently deciding between wyke and driff sixth form atm and since that vid looking at your channel it’s crazy how you are now traveling the world it’s really inspiring
No way!! That’s crazy! Good luck with your decision! It feels like it’s literally been 2 seconds since that was the content I was making honestly hahaa!! But thank you so much 🥹🥰
Loved this video, more than anything else I dream of living abroad for a couple of months and I've tried to find a place in Dublin and it's insaaane, Airbnb seems to be the only option for 2 months leases (which I totally understand) but it's so expensive 😂 Thank you for giving me something to look forward to with your videos, Uni is so rough atm and I feel very lonely so you're videos are always the best escape from life atm 🥰
This is such a kind comment, thank you so much for watching 🥹🥹 I’m so sorry Uni is hard right now, it’s definitely exciting to have a goal for afterwards (and time to save for an Airbnb hahaa) - definitely not the cheapest way but also one of the more reliable places to find a short term lease!!!
I’ve heard a few people saying that they don’t like couples because it can be more unstable for the tenants if they split. Apparently if you say they’re your fiancé they see it as a more permanent thing - you can lie about that considering there’s no proof required
I have not watched you for a while , so i am catching up on your vids , I am watching this as I have seen your story and I must say congratulations on everything as I have you grow up and wow what a an achievement , I love your videos as they are comfort to watch and keep being you…. Jess X
Well Done on Tom Getting his Job and the Flat, you both deserve it, your 2 cool people, and like i said on Instagram, i love your Videos as i so relate to your Australian Adventures as i did the same 14 years ago. I think i'll be in Sydney in April but know your still be in Melbourne so will not be in the same area sadly. keep be you and so glad for u Both. ❤
Do you think you might eventually live in a lesser known area in Australia. Instead of Sydney vs Melbourne (kind of like London vs Manchester) you may consider an australian Beverly or little beach town?
Maybe!! Although I’ve spent my whole life at home living in a small town near the beach hahaha, I was definitely more drawn to city living here but we won’t rule it out once we move on from Melbourne!!!
random question but i’m sure others will be wondering. How will yourself and Tom afford to move out when you’re back in the UK if you’re spending money to rent in AUS? love your videos!!
The same way people save up for a mortgage while renting a property really; we’re both working (more than we were working at home tbh) during our time in Melbourne so the aim really is to be saving up, plus we really aren’t in a rush to move anywhere else right now. Our focus is definitely living and travelling across Australia/other parts of the world before we’d consider that haha
how are you finding the job market? is it really hard to get one? im thinking of going over next year on a whv. ive got 6 years hospitality experience and a nvq by then hopefully. but job prospective is really putting me off
It is quite hard I can’t lie but the more experience you have the easier you’ll find it probably!!! My experience is quite niche and not that transferable so I deffo think don’t let it put you off!!
I’m not going to tell you what to do. If you want to live in Melbourne… fine. Just realise how much cheaper it is to live outside Melbourne in Country Victoria (plenty of jobs) and travel into Melbourne whenever you want.
For a shorter period of time we just wanted to live in the centre of it all, we’ve grown up living in a suburb/outside of where anything is going on so for now we’re excited to live in the city itself!! If we decide to stay longer term we’ll deffo look at some of the suburbs for sure!!

There is a huge rental crisis in Aus currently so not surprised you had to settle with an Airbnb!
There really really is this is what every estate agent was saying haha

Loved this...I'm moving to brisbane next week and this is so helpful. Congrats on the flat. Can't wait for the next installment of this series
Oh your accent is changing!! 😍
so happy for you two! i’m not sure about in aus but in england the reason they don’t let couples stay is because of tax
I’ve heard a few people saying that they don’t like couples because it can be more unstable for the tenants if they split. Apparently if you say they’re your fiancé they see it as a more permanent thing - you can lie about that considering there’s no proof required
That does make a lot of sense tbh! Definitely will try that if we’re ever looking for somewhere else 😅
all of your videos are so helpful and you seem so down to earth! would love to connect with you when i’m in aus im going in sept xx

This is the most lovely comment, thank you so so much for watching🥹🥹🥹
Wow, the adventure park you stood in front of is literally minutes from my brothers flat next to the espy. Brings back alot of memories 🥰
I’d love to know what’s on your CV! Like did you include your job from when you was a teenager? Is RUclips on your CV? Are they different to UK CVS?
I’ll chat about it in my next video!! But yess RUclips is the main bulk of my CV hahaa! X

I live in Melbourne imagined I bumped into you in the city 😂
Thank you so much!! Ah no way, definitely stop us and say hello if you do run into us!!! 🧡
Congratulations to you both!! Have you both got to complete the normal 88 days “farm work” to get your second year visa? xx

Nice video and informative
Gutted that we were both in YHA Melbourne central at the same time and I didn’t see you 😢

I wish you mentioned the area names, prices and the link to the Airbnb you rented. Would have made the video more helpful and informative
