Thanks Callum, yeah they are doing circuits to keep them in good condition as these ones are currently owned by the leasing company. but they haven't removed the decals yet as you can see.
Hi mate, just to ask what action will be going into Newquay this August, I’m going to go as I’m in Cornwall and it will probably be on a Saturday. Thanks pal
Hi bud yes I can tell you there will be British Airways, Eastern Airways, Aer Lingus & Ryanair. Note not all operate every day of the week. Hope that helps.
I don't know what the callsigns was im afraid. I know there more maintenance flights as they likely be returned to the lessor company. Or they might be going to new owner.
People like you haven't a clue about this Airport and its history as RAF St Mawgan. How it started out in 1939 as a few Nissan Huts down in the far south west corner of what is one of the biggest airfields in the UK. It has a fantastic history, in 1942 my Mother was a WAAF there.
Always remember going camping in Cornwall, down in Mawgan Porth. Could always hear the planes taking off. Lovely sound tbh.
Its a good area especially hearing the planes taking off, as from Mawgan Porth they aren't flying very high after lifting off from Newquay.
Great video mate! I’m going to Newquay this August as I’m going to Cornwall!
Oh cool, be nice.
Great vid mate keep it up 👍🏻 😁
Many Thanks Karlene, glad you have enjoyed the video, I will make aviation videos once the traffic level's increase again, I will keep it up for sure.
@@BensPlanesTrainsProductions thanks looking forward to seeing it ✌🏻
Great footage. Very nice C-17 action mate 👍
Glad you enjoyed it
That's not easy to record planes did a good job here Ben mate, 😊
Cheers Alex, apart from getting wet as I didn't take a coat and wearing shorts and t shirt.

Ah okay cheers mate. What time do these aircraft arrive?
They are spaced out the the schedule. I may do another spotting video in August. When and how many days are you here in Cornwall.
Ah okay, I’m there for a week from the 7th to the 14th august
If not working on any of the days, I may go to the airport for a spotting session.
The TCX birds - more or less maintenance flights? Do you know what callsigns they used?
I don't know what the callsigns was im afraid. I know there more maintenance flights as they likely be returned to the lessor company. Or they might be going to new owner.
Watching this one year later, anyone know where those Thomas Cookies A330s are now?
They went to France earlier this year, not sure what the future holds for them. But likely it be used by another carrier.
are u gonna go there for the g7 summit arrival?
I did see G7.
Good video but I thought Thomas Cook had folded? or is that another company flying one of their planes?
They did circuits to keep them in good airworthy condition as these have been sold.
@@BensPlanesTrainsProductions thanks for the update!
No problem bud.

I do know my history thank you, i don't state it on the video description. The title and description explains what's on the video.
