What a lovely video - you really captured the way of life in a country that is trying to drag it's way back to the world of today. Those once beautiful 'Spanish' influenced houses in their design alas crumbling almost with despair, but like the people (and the roads) looked as if they were trying to hang on in the hope that they will be rescued before they end up just a pile of dust. Those lovely American cars still running because they have to, a lot in very nice condition, - (mind you what is under the bonnet certainly in one or two did not sound original). For a tobacco producing country I was surprised not to see anyone smoking, looks like bananas are popular though - mind you they were almost the only food I saw. Would be nice to see one of their 'street markets' or don't they have them. - I would have thought so now that they are trying to attract 'tourists', as I believe the regime is getting more relaxed. Not having Russia to rely on heavily so much now they are having to become a bit more 'liberal' in their outlook. I hope you will do more of this type of video.

For 30 years Cuba had the benefit of the assistance of the Soviet Union and the other communist countries. Why did Cuba need the "imperialist" United States anyway? Socialism alone should have made Cuba a rich country. Cuba is indeed a rich country; but only the Communist and government leaders have any wealth. Socialist countries are the countries with the most unequal income distribution in the world.
I find it kind of weird that in 2019 all these trendy travel vlogs with their color grading, motion graphics, cliche transitions, and future bass music are a thing. Then you have this guy who just walks around with the camera, no music, no color grading, no attention to video composition, white balance, or exposure or post production. Yet, I feel even more connected with the feeling of walking down this street and walking past the inhabitants of this foreign land than the same looking/sounding "travel vlogging" we see today. I feel like nowadays, more of the attention to goes to who has the best drone shots, transition packs, gimbal smooth motion, color grades, etc. Yea it's visually stimulating, but it doesn't connect you with the locations they film in as well as this video does. The beauty of being simple is art
