The soundscape of Stasis is definitely what I wish more horror games did. I feel most horror games nowadays don't do their soundscapes well, so the mood doesn't quite hit. But Stasis' atmospheric soundscape is an absolute masterpiece. As flawed as the game is, the soundscape is absolutely unsettling, terrifying, and EXTREMELY uncomfortable to listen to. I have never heard any horror game before that made me this uncomfortable as Stasis did.
Oh yeah, definitely agree, any dev working on a horror game that underestimates how monumental of a role sound plays in this genre is bound for failure
Not at all! Honestly looks like a quality game, I definetly will also check out Bonetotem review by Mandy since Im wondering if the sequel is also good
I wish more people would make old-school isometric games like this.
