The reactions starting at around @11:09 during the Gold Cloaks King’s Landing purge of the alleged criminals is priceless. It was a brutal scene but it gave us a wonderful mix of reactions by various reactors. Hilarious & amazing.
Yes! Daemon is not going to bother investigating the alleged criminals or holding trials before maiming/killing them; if he thinks they're guilty, they suffer horrors. That's it. Daemon is not a deep thinker, especially when scratching his impulse for violence.

So hilariously ironic that this episode came out around the same time that the American government overturned Roe v. Wade
I love how most of the fans completely missed the fact that it was either the baby lives or they both die. Never in that conversation did they mention she had any chance of surviving the childbirth, only the baby did. There was really no choice.
There was a choice - whether to give Aemma more sedative (milk of the poppy) so she could pass away in her sleep, which would also cause the child to die within her; or have her die a horribly painful death but give the child a chance to live. I think Viserys made the choice as a king, not as a loving husband; to spare the realm the danger of being eventually ruled by Daemon; but it backfired; and he will have to live with his decision for the rest of his life. In my own opinion, both choices were terrible; given that Viserys was a king and not a private citizen.

I have to admit Damon is a sexy ass character he just is I love him from start to finish with all his flaws and I have seen this series at least six times since I started watching it and waiting for it to come out with the second season because he’s just flipping amazing now if he’s not in the second season, we’re gonna have a problem because I love him and there’s no reason for him not to be in the second season
OK I just went back and did a Google search. I didn’t realize there was a castration in the middle of demon taking over the gold close because of a “Raper “so I got it I was so confused I thought I miss something a little bit bigger than just the city watch.

The C-section scene was incredibly hard to watch. However, it is very accurate for what would be attempted to save the babe when the only other way would to be to lose both. Without a C-section with a breech birth, the mother and the baby would both die that is almost 98% guaranteed. So as hard as it is to watch the C-section without the proper milk of the poppy or any other sedative, it was the only way to try to save the babe in a situation where you were gonna lose both. This is an extremely hard decision to make for anyone especially back in the day, but it is some thing that was fairly common to have to do whether we like to admit that or not without our common ways of doing a C-section. This is how it would’ve been done this is historically accurate. Horrifying I’m not get a debate that part historically accurate yes

The scene of the force birth is awful, very important for contemporary people to relate to.
First of all daemons armor is fire. I study, medieval history I participate in the SCA, which is society for creative anachronism and I’m here to tell you that Aamir is flipping fire. Now I’m here to tell you that the jousting got a little bit out of control from what I normally would see at one of our events, however know that boy is fired. He is Aamir, the way he fights, and even the way that he loses the fight to christon
Jousting in that time period would have been incredibly dangerous. The goal is to break three jousting poles to win now if that meant going through armor and breaking ribs, if that meant D horsing the person if that meant sticking it through the helm into your eyes, that is how it was done. And this was an extreme sport back in the day and this is exactly how it would have been done despite how horrifying it might seem to those of us today.
OK, in that situation that his wife was in back in that time. You had two choices you either let the gods choose and lose both your wife and your child because a child who is breach is not going to be able to be born naturally. Or you choose to have a crude C-section without the pain meds that we get today and hopefully you will save your baby rather than lose both your weight and your baby so this had nothing to do with his love for his wife it had to do with saving at least one of the Q lives that were laying on that bed at that moment. I think if you look at it that way it isn’t as gruesome as thinking that he just chose to mutilators wife for the sake of his baby that is not what was going on what was going on was he was going to lose both the wife and the baby if you did nothing. If the Meister did a C-section, at least there was a chance the babe would survive in this case that didn’t happen, however, in other situations, the baby did survive and this was something that happened. That is how we got to the C-sections we have today thank God we have better medication‘s in better doctors now, however, back in the day this was your only option. Either you both died or the meisters tried to save the baby. So what would you have had him do just let them both day in extreme agony, which is what we saw his wife going through for hours or do the C-section and try to save the baby at least. In this case, the baby did not survive for whatever reason, but at least they tried as horrifying as it was for some of us to watch.
Daemon was an idiot for turning his back on Christian Cole because if you turn your back to scene that is what happens you on your back using in a situation you should’ve won. He got too cocky and that is what happens. Sorry to say, but the prince got too cocky for his pants and that’s what happened. He got laid out on his back and had to yield and look like an idiot in front of everybody.
I really hate to say this I’ve commented a couple times already however, when Emma died because they did the C-section to try to save the baby there was nothing else that could’ve been done. She would’ve died in agonizing pain, trying to deliver a birch reach baby there is no way to deliver a breech baby without serious medical in for intervention, which was not available by accident. So she was going to die with the baby inside her or they could try the C-section the way that they did and the baby did survive the first 1520 minutes and then he passed away for whatever reason but without them trying that he would’ve died in the womb and they would have been nothing they could do. So as mad as people seem to get at the king for making this decision, there were only two choices. Tried to deliver the baby and save him and lose the mother, or lose them both because there was no way those were going to both happened there was no way she was going to deliver a healthy baby and survive. As a mother of a breech child without the C-section with the medication I had and the doctors I had I would have been in the same situation they were in. I would have either died, trying to deliver my baby or they would have tried to remove my son and try to make him Lynn. As a mother, I would have rather they tried to let him live regardless of the fact that I was going to die, which is where I believe this mother would have been, and why I do not blame this father for trying what he had to do to at least give the best opportunity for one of them to live. As horrifying as that whole situation would be that were here that was his only option that was all that there was to try. There is no way she would’ve delivered that baby and both of them lived not a chance in hell unfortunately. And that father will live with that decision every single second of his life as horrifying as that is.
I’m not sure how anyone would not see that both his wife and his child might die having to have that rudimentary C-section no medication no oxygen no anything that we have nowadays. He did the best that he knew how to do with what his meisters knew how to do. If they had tried nothing, both the mother and the child would’ve died in absolute agony. At least with the way that they try to do it. The baby lived for a short period of time. And his wife died sooner than she would’ve if they had been in labor for another 12 hours, trying to deliver a baby that she would not have been able to do on her own. I know this whole scene. This whole idea is horrifying for the modern world. But if you look back without anesthesia other than milk of the poppy, there was nothing to help with that pain, and there was nothing short of the rudimentary starting’s of a C-section that they learned at, the monastery or wherever they learned medicine that was all they knew was a rudimentary C-section to try to save the baby knowing that the mother would die from the blood loss. Childbirth nowadays is dangerous even now back then you pretty much had a 50-50 chance of it being a good outcome, whether it was both of you living whether it was one of the two of you living or whether it was both of you dying it was dangerous point blank. which is why a lot of women did not even want to do it no matter what they did not want to experience that at all nothing I blame them
Deamon would never plot to kill his brother. He may take the throne if you were offered to him, but he would never kill his brother for that. He is a unscrupulous person in a lot of things, but not in the sense that he would commit regicide to take his brothers throne not a chance in hell. He loves his brother too much to ask even contemplate that. He would take the throne if his brother died and he was heir but not by killing his brother that is not something he would ever do and no one can convince me of that he is unscrupulous in lotta ways, but not that.
