Apple designs their products in San Francisco, California, USA. And the Apple store in San Francisco, California, USA has an elevator and it serves 3 floors. *1, 2, and 3. And this is a video of that elevator.
I went in this Apple store July 2017. Nice Apple Store and better location. I could care less about the elevator. Also, I did ride the elevators at the former Levi’s store, only making the Apple Store that much more disappointing knowing what used to stand
Would've been cool if this had a fully glass scenic elevator. If you haven't seen it yet, the new Apple Store in Chicago has this all glass scenic elevator
Very interesting doorframe. This is most likely a Gen2. Series 4 fixtures since they are flush mounted. This one isn't the worst to me. Quality seems better than the last tin can elevator you posted. Too bad they ripped out the glass Mitsys though.
I highly doubt it would be a custom MRL, and if it is a standard machine roomed traction it wouldn't be custom either. I still believe this is just a Gen2.
Well either your calculation is off on this one or maybe it's programmed different, but just because the controller is set different I wouldn't call it custom.
That deep door frame almost look like the deep opening of the service elevator at UIUC's Psychology (they're metal sheeted walls, but not part of the door frame).
This elevator IMO Actually appears to be VERY GOOD quality for a modern elevator. However, unfortunately, no modern elevator is nearly as high quality as the old vintage stuff.
Yeah, Newer Series 2 for surface mount "Series 7", and Newer Series 4 for flush "Series 7". This is a Newer Series 4. I know Otis refers to these fixtures this way as me, Kyle and a few other users messaged Otis via facebook
I will no longer refer to them as Series 7. For the longest time I thought that's what it was called. I've been getting tons of mixed answers, but majority rules.

Hey, Jowevator 3219. What is on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors?

This is actually a Newer Series 4

I wonder what is with the wonky door frame maybe this elevator was added on and there was limited space when they were putting it in
To be honest, this is a decent elevator.
JimLiElevators agreed
Samuel Starr There's NO such thing as Series 7. This is a Series 4.
SPS8 You're all good. I'm not mad or anything. I was just helping you out.
Yes sirs 7
I like that Otis Voice overs
What happened to the two Mitsubishi elevators?
mailerdiablo I miss them. They are no more.

Specialty Elevators & UEE's by Technicalboy3000 Series 2 has been around since 1989. Series 4 has been around since 2000-2001
They have an elevator like this in The Grove Los Angeles. Except, I think it's a Schindler
Apple has to make the elevator “look Apple”
That is a very *thicc* door frame
Late comment but the Levi’s location on Market Street doesn’t even HAVE an elevator 😭
Do you know who/what the club is for?
no idea. It's very strange for it to be atop an Apple store though
And who pressed the phone
As ESP would say "Biggest. Call station. Ever".
Elevating Western PA by EvMast Productions I said the same thing LOL
Previous store had a Schindler MT vandal resistant.
The outside door jab is OVERSIZED!
Verry nice elvalator Kone
Biggest. Call Station. Ever.
Now you sound like ElevatorsinRussia...
Specialty Elevators & UEE's by Technicalboy3000 LOL
They had a contract with Mitsubishi for a while.
This is a series 7 gen2
that is not a series 7 it is a series 4
It's a series 2, you're right
SPS8 Nope. Series 4.
SPS8 M4 and M2 are mods. This is an installation.
This is quite a nice elevator. Not a fan of Mitsubishi
Series 7 Gen2
It's Series 7 Elevator
no such thing as Series 7
There is if you look at JimLiElevators Video of them.
Shea TrainSpotter2006 he's wrong, still no such thing. It's newer series 4
surprised it is not IELEVATOR
Ha ha..........!
I been to Apple Store elevator in sf
Most don't, not even here in the SF Bay Area. Heck, the store at 1 Infinite Loop is only one floor!
1-3
This is Series 7
Actually, the term for this elevator would be "Newer Series 4."
Otis actually doesn't refer to these fixtures as Series 7. I asked them through Facebook. Since the COP is flush mounted this one would be Series 4.
WestCoast Elevators That’s literally what I just said (not mad @ you @ all, I was just saying).
