what lights do you use? did I see maxspect lights on a tank? what was the last part of the video? beautiful but was I also seeing a lot of skeleton?
We use mostly Radions but have a few Kessils which i believe is what you saw. The last part of the video was rainbow chalices, for some reason they always come in with old death on them but usually will grow over it after a little bit of time.

how do feel about melafix for killing pests? in my limited experience I have had better luck with melafix than with revive.... though they may be similar chemicals? I may just start dipping with bayer.... anyhoo, I will be dipping a bunch of corals tomorrow, straight from you guys to my house!!
I've never used melafix for dipping corals, but have used it successfully with fish. Revive in my opinion isn't great for pest removal and I usually use it to help a stressed coral that is dealing with things like a bacterial infection. I recommend coral RX for most corals but also use Potassium Chloride for Acropora which has similar results to bayer but is less toxic.
do you recommend putting the corals on a new frag plug if they can be safely unattached or is that some ocd level procedure?@@queencitycorals
I would say that is a good practice but not necessary especially if you thoroughly inspect the plug, we have a whole video about our dipping procedure here ruclips.net/video/QA4-cgoPPRA/видео.html
I dont have the space for a quarantine tank YET, and I dip everything, yet some hitchhikers still get through... just found that I have some type of teeny tiny serpent/brittle star that somehow got in the system... thankfully those arent necessarily considered pests usually...@@queencitycorals
