Awesome, glad it helped! Their fiddly, needy, finnicky little sods but not too bad! Buy a cheapo 2nd set of filters so you don't have to wait for them to dry before using, then swap and wash them every month and that'll help it last
As a fellow service technician. I find that all machines have their own short comings, but as a someone who services all machines, the problem is the operator in actual fact, unfortunately people don't read instructions because apparently they "know everything", so many of my customers don't even know where any of the filters are or the maintenance schedule or how to take care of them, alot just say "wow i didnt know that was there".... sweety its in the manual. I find that in this case with sharks that the primitive cyclone design actually makes it easy to clean and service and as long as the customer maintains and uses it how it was intended you shouldn't have a problem. Unfortunately people are lazy and neglectful not the machine, if your someone who isn't savvy with instructions go with a bagged machine, if your tech savvy and meticulous with maintenance then choose whatever you like, my only gripe with bags are - Are they recyclable ♻️ or straight to land fill. Or -biodegradable. I do like shark power heads for the innovation, i like that i can transition from hard flooring to carpeted flooring without changing the floor nozzle and it actually does a decent job at grooming the pile, some power heads or worse turbo heads just tickle the carpet and are useless, might as well use a standard head probably get better results. If any machine is used and maintained correctly you should have no problem, so many neglect to remove and clean the roller at the front. Best advice - show them how to remove the power head, place upside down, remove fluffy roller, attach crevice nozzle or dusting brush to the hose or in stick style the suction port, vacuum any dirt, dust, hair etc, Then reassemble, its that easy.
Just got myself an nv801 with buggered brush head so ive fun and games to look forward to shortly - i damn well hate sharks!they do have a good following somehow, but i say to them discover a miele and then youll have a decent cleaner! That victor is providing you with sterling service Sam it really is isnt it 😊
I don't suppose you know if the newer handle from the icz300 will fit onto the older ic160? Interested to know as if it does I may purchase one thanks Carl
Got one of these for £20 yesterday at a house clearance. They vacuumed a tub of paint with it. The entire floor head was smeared with the paint and also was the brush roll
Good old Shark suffering the CCT issue (Cheap Chinese Tat) I know not everything China is bad, although it’s a common issue, shark vacuums are priced as premium , technology is a bit primitive and build very cough questionable 🤨
Thank you! This really helped. I bought my shark about a year ago and thoroughly regret it every time I use it.

It's far better than the older I 160 I had! Nicer handle makes it for me ❤️

'Work out why, perhaps, it's not working;.
It's a shark, that's all that needs to be said as to why it isn't working.
