I have this vacuum cleaner. Thank you for the video. They supply filters with the genuine Miele bags.

Great video, nice to see a bagged vacuum cleaner video! Bag vacuum cleaners usually need very little maintenance other than replace dirty filters and full bags and check the brush roll if the floor head has one!
Unusual to see genuine manufacturers filters for bagged machines be washable as they usually once dirty need replacing not that they do very often as the bag acts as the main filter!

Please, advice: Somehow, the the dirt wasn't going into the bag, but all around the inside of the vacuum cleaner. I've removed all the filters and all were clocked and dirty. I will change them all and clean everything as much as possible. What I worry about is the motor. What should I do now? Thanks.

If you've changed all the filters and put a new bag in, all you can do is to check to make sure there are no blockages anywhere that can obstruct the suction. Hopefully after all of this it will be ok for you.

Generic bags cause this - have to use genuine bags

2200 Watts on a vacuum motor is insane. Here in the US, Miele’s are 1200 Watts. Either that motor is wildly inefficient or it’s capable of sucking a golf ball through a garden hose

You can reduce the power output. These machines were made before the EU changed the rules.

These vacuums could suck a bowling ball through a garden hose, they're the best.

You have to throw away the bag and get a new one? WHAT KIND OF BULLSHIT IS THAT!?

A lot of older types of vacuums used to use bags rather than just emptying a bin of the vacuum. Even now, some people prefer the bag style as it just gets rid of the rubbish in an efficient way without having to wash a bin and it saves the dust coming out of the bin too.

That sounds very strange that you have water inside the vacuum, i would just switch it off and not use it if any electrical components are near the water for safety reasons.

Personally i would leave it to dry in a warm area for several days, then try it out. Hopefully if it hasn't been used in the wet environment then you may be ok. 🤞
