Just wow! How can an individual be this beautiful - melanin, gap tooth, dimples as well as a very nice smile & over the top smart! Oops a believer as well. Did I hear her say her former bf cheated on her? Unfortunate guy 😀 I see me and her get along real well, of course she is married..so respectfully, I wish her well 🙏🏿
What stood out the most for me in this Interview is, Don't go into tech because you could be paid as high as a professional Athlete someday but because you either love it or wish to solve a problem that is tech related. Thanks a lot for this interview @Peace Itimi and @Tomilola.
Tomilola majekodunmi is the best interview I’ve watched in a while. I don’t know there’s Sth so genuinely accessible and vulnerable about her. Brings me to tears.
Great interview, my friends where the early employees back then. I did remembered they'll stayed all night working on the bankly API, fixing bugs on the site. Am glad the company has make it this far. Congratulations to team bankly 🎉
This was so inspiring to watch! I love how authentic Tomilola is. As an aspiring founder, one of my major takeaways is, When building a company, it's important to gain deep roots that allow you to build something that truly lasts. Thanks for this interview!
Tomi’s ability to think like a scientist really stood out for me in this conversation. It was well reflected from her interview that got her hired at meristem to getting an 80% tuition waiver for her MBA and just basically wearing Bankly as a garment everyday since launch. I love that she understands the process of hypothesis, research and testing. I wish her success in her endeavor with Bloom. Thank you for putting this together Peace, I learned a lot from this one. Cheers✨
Anyone would invest in her, she's super smart and strong willed. The part where she talked about women breaking down the power paradigm is very powerful. By far the best interview you've made on here
I love this interview. Rich and well-informed. its Tomilola realness in solving basic financial issues and creating a business model that works for the people.
@Peace Itimi thank you for building Founders Connect....I did learnt a lotttt and this keeps motivating me always for every video ....Tomi really shared helpful contents...
Great one you are doing @tomilola.. Apt solution you have at Bankly, I sure see this going to solve some of the deepest problems we have with Financial services across emerging markets. It goes beyond what you have now as a solution, just keep at it you've hacked this problem already!!👌
Insightful interview Tomilola's Journey shows immense levels of preparedness meeting opportunities. Her passion to search and solve problems in any space she finds herself also makes her formidable. It's been insightful seeing into her journey from working in Investment to an the oil and gas deal, to her Business school and the journey with the VC company, to working on the axion project and deciding to create her own fintech to solve the problem of uploading money. Welldone Peace for creating this interview.
I love what you guys are doing. But please be aware that bank-run is a real thing, especially when working with other people’s money. What the average Nigerian really need is digital property rights, not another loan shark disguised as a savings app.
The part where Tomi said that as a Tech founder you need to have a strong technical CTO who's bleeding blue with you. So damn true! Also on women breaking power dynamics in workspaces so they can help each other is so relatable. Thank you so much Tomi. Kudos Peace.
Tomilola is such an excellent speaker🤌 As much as I didn't know much of the finance and tech terminologies she spoke about, the way she communicated them made me stay glued till the end. I must say she has a really ‘tush’ sense of humour☺️ Well done Peace. This is a really great piece💎

We have bills to pay. Too much generic advice these days.
@@codewithegaithats the point. if all your days your mind is to pay bills. You'll keep paying bills 😢
"... whoever going to be my tech cofounder is as in this as I am" very important. Just stumble on this and it helps a lot
