G'day Silver Struck, so glad you liked the remaining Aussie swag & the selection of Australian numismatic "circulating & collectable" coins, the Aussie Big Things set was released through Australia Post in collaboration with RAM, each of the dodecagon (12 sided) 50c coins reflect different events, like the 1970 coin featuring Captain James Cook, the first commemorative 50c coin issued by RAM, the odd coin out is the regular 2022 50c coin featuring the Australian Coat of Arms, the $1 coins also highlight different events, the 2023 coin featuring King Charles III was the only circulating coin issued in 2023 & is the first coin featuring the new King after QEII's reign for the past 70 years, the 2014 ANZAC coin coin commemorates the 100 year alliance between the "Australian & New Zealand Army Corps", the 2020 coin is a crowd favourite commemorating 100 years of Australia's national airline carrier Qantas, the $2 coins feature many events, especially the Honey Bee coin which was voted best circulating coin in the world in 2022, I am always happy to provide you with further information on any of the coins. Cheers Peter J 😂👋🇦🇺 🐨🦘👍
I appreciate everything you have done PeterJ, thank you very much! One of the reasons I like coins is for the history behind each one. The coins you sent lets me know a lot more about Australia along with it's history. Just outstanding coins sent! Thank you for taking the time to explain the coins here, that is very helpful. As you could see, I'm not familiar with your coinage, so it's harder for me to recognize what I'm looking at. Typically, I'll go on-line and read up on a coin and it's subject matter...well, and also watch YT!! I'll put this collection in special place with the notes from this comment so i know what I'm looking at. Your the best Peter, thank you!
Absolutely! PeterJ put a lot of effort and thought into this box. My return box to him better live up to what Peter did here, I've got my work cut out for me!
@@SilverStruck It definitely was. It looked like you had a couple of the coins with the colored center in that batch too. Someone on YT has a whole collection of those over the years.
Holy crap! Quite the haul for part 2!! Peter J sure knows how to pack a box lol Gotta love Kangaroo and Koala socks The hoard of coins is incredible. Octagonal 🤣🤣 Such amazing multi-sided coins 👍 Nicely done on both ends!!
Round #2 after seeing part #1 & #2 I'm needing a box's package from Peter. J. in a bad way,,, so Peter. J. If you see this comment I'm ready for it. Lol. Epic unboxing. 🇺🇲🦅⚖️
The Australians have their silver well put together! I had a bunch of Perth silver but nothing from The Australian Mint until now, thanks you PeterJ of course 😊👍
Wow, I love Australian currency! That is super cool! I do have quite a large collection of Aussie and Kiwi coinage. My biggest amount of NON-SILVER foreign currency coinage comes from the U.K., Mexico, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the former Soviet Union. I have a lot of foreign coins from all over the world, probably 200lbs+ worth of them, but coins from those countries and defunct countries make up well over half of what I have...probably 85% of what i have actually. Very cool video! It was super generous, but it couldn't have been mailed to anyone better. Great stuff! Take care!
I have some foreign clad coins, mostly from Mexico and now Australia! The Soviet coins must be interesting. I've seen some of those around from time to time along with Germain coins and some others. I haven't looked into my foreign coins in a long time, I should do that soon. When younger (kid) foreign coins where popular! The Asian coins where interesting- holes in the center so we all thought those where the most rare🤣🤣😊👍
The first one looks like a fridge magnet, you stick it on your fridge door and put paper reminders under it, it will look cool having an Aussie one. The coins in the white cards look Uncirculated to me. A wonderful package all round.
Dude! Those Aussie big things coins are amazing!! So many amazing coins! I bet that is a Moreno Sheep (ram). That is a super important livestock animal for them. The fur is amazing. I want friend like Peter!! I think Australian coins are amazing... Especially in bullion.
I wish I had more knowledge on Australian coins! Bet your right on the Ram species, that sounds correct...sheep would need big horns to deal with the jumping Crocodile, lol!
Us stackers all know what a monster box is, but that package from Peter brings a new definition to the term "monster box"! I think the $1 coins with all the roos is known as a "mob or roos". Peter will correct me if I'm wrong.

Wow he really went to town with the box very generous. KANGAROOS are great until they jump infront of your car, they are so unpredictable and fast .
Yes, PeterJ really did a great job here on the box! I love hearing from Aussies- we have dear here in the USA that do that but they hop differently!

I just got bombed with another Peter J package, lol. He sent me a lot of the same items in the past as well.
What a great guy to have in the community! Looking forward to checking out what PeterJ sent😊

The Australian coinage is quite neat! Glad to have some examples in the stack 😊
I just threw peter a sub
Thank you! PeterJ is a top notch person here, so it's good to connect with him.
you did not show the $2 coins
I plan to do some research and show those coins on a future video! From what Peter said, there may be some low mintage ones in that group.
