Doom - Consider a solitaire type format with a “hell” deck like a beefed up theros solo deck that behaves a certain way, combined with a roguelite approach of drafting as you play from another deck. This would give the constant movement feel of doom with replayability and ability to adapt to different challenges on the fly.
I will share this with Stu, he has been very guarded over the project lol I like this idea of a gate that opens and lets the creatures out. I will send it along to Stu. Happy cubing!
Chess - Somehow implement actual chess pieces as ways to assign associated abilities or stats or movement patterns to creatures on the field, and create a system that uses a large chess grid. You ccan play magic normally, but add rules to attacking/blocking only under certain positioning conditions. This allows more freedom of fleshing out archetypes and theme amongst the cube cards, but “check”s the chess box with a consistent set of known rules to live by while drafting.
I like this idea. I will have to lay out a grid or an actual chess board over the weekend and place cards to simulate the idea. Thanks for the idea and for listening! Happy cubing!

Dragon Time - Give all dragons Saddle and the ability “cant attack or block unless saddled,” and “dragons can’t saddle dragons.”
Oh, May will dig this idea! I like the idea of dragon riders. I will def share. Thanks for the ideas and input. Now to fix some cubes! Happy cubing!
