The new undead 5 drop seems absurd to me. It’s so much easier to get going than anubarak, even if you get it 2-3 turns later.
I don't think it's that absurd, he had it golden, so it scaled quite a bit.
@@andreicmello that’s fair. I just think it’s a little scary that it doesn’t need nearly as much support and anubarak for even better scaling. I think it’s pretty comparable to old anubarak, which got nerfed.

Anub giving 2 was stronger, I like the new 5, seems fair and balanced and like what UD needed
I could see them nerfing it to avenge 3. Needs more time to cook first

The "always has 7 minions" one is also VERY broken with Demons and Felbat. I had a golden Drakkari, and 5 Felbats. It refreshes after each Felbat feeds, after every... single... feeding. LOL. HUGE DEMONS!
Wait, doesnt the murloc only get reborn from the avenge, not the venomous? So it has to die and be reborn to get venomous twice. Or am i misunderstanding

Yeah, realistically, it’s just a Mantid with more stat potential. I don’t think the design on some cards was very well thought out. Like what are we supposed to do with Papa Bear?
Yeah, doesn't really synergize with shields unless you taunt it confident that 4 other minions will die before it.

Gutted that at 10:05 you really breifly see an eternal summoner before it turns into uther
The sentries only seem decent if you have 2 or more on board, the one golden one doesn't really do anything that another reborn unit wouldn't. Getting a golden +2 normals looks very strong though.
I had that exact Anomaly first game and I can understand the confusion, it fucked me up lol
Is it me or is the new lord barov skin (bookie barov) bugged? Like i have a notification that i got a new skin but i cant find the hero AT ALL
The skin is not bugged, the hero is just inactive currently and hidden by default. There's a Show All button at the top, press that and Barov and any other inactives will be included in the list.

The guy that gets reborn and taunt after avenge 4 is kinda mediocre tbh. I also thought it was insane but it rarely gets more than 1 reborn. Think of it as a slightly better version of the tier 1 reborn taunt guy. Except it has a little more tech potential but that's it

Am i the only one having problems after the update? Every game, when the rope ends it just endlessly stays there. Restarting the game doesnt work. It just keeps trying to reconnect
I feel like spending all your gold before moving any pieces is the correct move here. Like, rolling all the way, i felt some turns were kinda "order lol" so to speak 😅

Surprised he was so confused with the anomaly. It is basically every buy is a token. Usually buy sell is -2 gold and token is -1. Anomaly made everything at worst -1.
I think what's confusing is that most minions that are typically +gold are now -1gold and any build that cycles is now useless. It makes you rethink the net value of all minions for ex. Shell collector is now better, sellemental = vanilla 2/2 with ele tag
Let me explain with better association: Normally minions sell by 33% of their original cost, now they sell by 0% wich is way worst...
He kept scoffing at cycle cards like Scout, but in the normal game it costs 1 as well, right? Buy the scout for 3 sell the scout for 1 sell the discover for 1? so if the scout discovery is worth it in standard BGs, it’s worth it in the buy for 1 gold anomaly right? or am I missing something?
In regular games, scout gives you a discount over what you could usually buy. You pay 3 for the scout and sell it for 1, so you get to discover a 1-drop for 2 gold when buying that same 1-drop from the shop would cost you 3. But in this, buying something from the shop already costs only 1, so getting to discover for 1 gold isn't as valuable.
You're right that it's the same cost for the same result, but with this anomaly you can get more for 1 gold than you can in a regular game, so going -1 for a Scout discover is more costly.
I rather think like this: Normally you buy a minion and it loses 66% of their original value, in this they lose 100% wich is way worse so skipping them is usually better...

It's a variety of options, millhouse doesn't exist in this option.

Theyre are available on a specific hero and through a specific anomaly.

Why? I mean, it's better to have hero choices but the same is true in general and with other mechanics like buddies and quests too.
yea i feel like a meta without any mechanics like buddies, quests, etc. would favor non-f2p much more. but then again i guess anomalies doesnt have things that scale with armor like quest difficulty
While in Quest patch you could be offered "bad" heroes, those would be counted as high life easy quest targets.
In a neutral patch, one wouldn't like choosing between two bad choices but they could play for board/shop.
With this update, you can end up not being able to enjoy a match's Anomaly properly cuz of heroes, life being offered Millhouse and maybe Tiggwaggle in a (minions cost one, sell for zero) game without nagas

The tier 7 undead is disgusting
I played it in my game and it felt... ok-ish. Idk how to explain, it was definitely an upgrade to my board but it thought it would be a lot more broken
@fallen2624 yeh I've changed my mind because I got wrecked by it. Then I played it myself and realised its death rattle doesn't copy to copies of itself. I think my opponent must have got really lucky with the death rattle sequencing.
I kind of hate this 1 gold no sell anomaly. Removing economy from the game makes the game more linear and less interesting.
Pretty much all the anomalies have a negative impact on the game. The ones making the shop always one type are horrible. The start on 10 gold one and first minion free ones make for bad games as well because they all do the same thing (break the economy). The one that sets left and right minion to highest attack has basically 0 impact. Even the tier 7 one has minimal impact because you'll basically never make it to tier 7 or even tier 6 in the current meta. This is by far the worst new mechanic they've added to BGs.

These anomalies are kind of annoying tbh. Its alot to think about esp with the changing of minions. The game just feels mega highroll right now.....
It is by far the most high-roll meta of any BG patch. The new minion set is unquestionably the worst set they've ever put out. The power level variance is enormous. Almost every game has been one person with a monster high roll and everyone else trying to cobble a scam comp together because if you didn't high roll on turn 5 like that guy did, you'll never catch up.
Glad I watched this before updating the game. Won't be touching this pathetic excuse of BGs until the anomalies are gone. Good job blizzard on yet again showing you have no idea what you are doing with your game.
