Have 70 miles on this shoe and I completely agree with you. Feels good at all paces, whether you're taking it slow or dipping below 7 min/mile paces. Will post a full review once I reach 100 milesn
really like it straight to the point and you mentioned the Price with in the 1st min of the Video :)
Cool review! May give these a shot later in the year. 🙌🏾
I am planning to get this shoe while waiting for META SPEED SKY to arrive here in Cambodia.. I got NOVABLAST and METARACER... I'M LOVING ASICS NOW..=))
Would you prefer the gel-cumulus 22 or the novablast or the gel-nimbus lite 2?
I got these, a nice pair of shoes.
How does this compare to the Saucony Ride ? I am more mid foot striker and have put about 600 km in the ride.
Hi Bryan I'm super tempting to buy this lol.currently i wear asics gel contend 6 for short running and walk in the park
It's a great shoe! Definitely a standard running shoe with no bells and whistles that will be reliable and last a long time! - Brandon
@@roadrunnersports yes i agree loved this shoe.tbh i kinda want to try new balance running shoe as well.i have neutral feet
@@Oriolus1 Lots of good NB shoes! If you like this shoe I recommend the Beacon or the 1080v10! Good luck!
Brandon
@@roadrunnersports thanks.
😎😼😏
Hi is this shoe exclusively for running? Can I use it when doing HIIT exercises?
What differences btw this and the Evoride?
After about 100 miles, longer runs felt ponderous and flat. Not a good long run shoe for heavier runners. They felt good up to that point. Luckily I have 3 pairs of this!
do you think it's ok for flat feet people to use it?
Yes! I highly recommend getting a custom insole however to strengthen up your arch support. - Brandon
What’s this like vs the cumulus 21 ?
The Cumulus 21 was my first ride in an ASICS ever and I think this one has a bit more firmness in the heel vs the 21. Pretty similar fit overall. - Brandon
I’ve read that this is VERY similar in feel to the Gel Nimbus 22 (which is more expensive). Any thoughts on that?
@@scrumpymanjack The Gel Nimbus is more cushiones. It'll definitely feel like more of a luxury fit. - Brandon
Road Runner Sports thanks for feedback. Luxury is one thing I’m NOT looking for when I run! Anyway, I’m coming from Cumulus 20s, which feel good but very firm to me...so I imagine the Cumulus 22s will feel much more cushioned by comparison.
@@scrumpymanjack I haven't been in the 20 but I ran in the 21 and this has a similar level of cushion/feel.
Is it waterproof?
nope
There is a Goretex version which is waterproof
