I think he is the best when it comes to explaining chess. Straight to the point, easy to understand and he keeps it simple. I actually learn something from watching his videos and i play better. Unlike when i watch gotham chess, i actually play worse. Edit: not trying to bash gothamchess or anything. I think he's entertaining and he's pretty good at what he does. It's just that i prefer this channel a bit more when it comes to just simply learning chess.
this is the first video of chess vibes i watched and as i was watching it I thought of the exact thing u said. I dont really learn much from gothamchess i think mainly because he shows way too many combinations of moves that is viable
Hey Nelson, just wanted to say I think your personality and style of video making has improved enormously since this video! Keep doing what you do, glad to have your videos available :D
Hahaha yeah it starts as the French defense but after several moves, it transitions into the French Revolution where all your pieces abandon the king and you lose 😂😂
I like your videos. Straight-to-the-point and no head-spinning multiple variations. This is one of the best French Defence tutorials I have seen.

HAHAHA! lol i bet Gotham chess will be infuriated when hey sees the "unlike when i watch Gotham chess actually play worse"
I agree. Levy sucks!
i sometimes just want simple chess instructions like this one or one without an entire history lesson from 1800 chess
@JF-iq1yx its annoying too since its the first 10 things ull see when u search up chess tutorials
I never knew that you could use the French defense against both E4 and D4. That’s really cool.
I really like your videos, i found you on reddit and they are really helpful!
keep up the good work!
Thanks, Betzu! Glad you're finding them helpful!

Tnx for making the Vid short as possible god i got a headache from gotham chess
I play both the French Defense and the CARO - KANN DEFENSE 💯 they have a similar open , the FRENCH DEFENSE is d3 and the CARO - KANN DEFENSE is f3 💯
Love the channel & the content sir! 👍🏻
Thanks, Nick! Appreciate that!
Thanks for this video!
Thanks for another good one 👌 Safe to say this is more of black focused opening? What's the standard defence against one, from white that is.
My personal favorite is Nc3 followed by Qd3. I made an in depth video on it here: ruclips.net/video/J1-IsiESmEw/видео.html
Thank you coach☺️☺️☺️! It helped me yo understand the French Defense in short time💗💗💗!

Yet to lose as white to someone playing French defense in blitz. Game usually ends early too
that sounds like a challenge
thank you
so you're saying it sucks?
The French defense is usually to surrender. Haha. History jokes.
