Congratulation for that 50th Anniversary edition, it looks really nice! And what a heartwarming letter from Boss.
The DS-1 looks like it received the same beautiful paint of the discontinued DA-2 Adaptive Distortion, which is an amazing digital distortion that lets you play intervals like 3rds or 7ths, and still sound good even at full gain.
Otherwise, I'm just another SD-1 user. ✋

Thank you so much for sharing Tomo! I love Boss Roland gear the Roland JC 120 is one of the greatest all around sounding guitar amps. that I've ever heard super loud and very useful I.M.O. As far as the pedals go yeah! time to celebrate 50 years wow love their digital delays and reverb stomp boxes the DS-1 has it's own reputation for great crunch.

I once had all of them the original ones from 1st year release.but sold them all and bought the ibanez ts808 79 narrow box first year and the ibanez od855 1st version from 1978 with flying fingers.i kept the boss od1 from 1978 with original box and manual.did i do good???👍👍👍👍🎸🎸❤🙏🙏🙏👍

I really love the sd1...especially with the tube amp. The ds1 was my first pedal. 2 yrs, and I'm only figuring that one out. It actually is a good pedal. Easy way to make it sound good os put the sd1 in front. Gonna get a blues driver someday! But i just bought an amp i shouldn't have!

For the price, is there a more solid piece of equipment than a boss pedal?
