You have gotten so much better since art school; before you had your shtick and it was cool, but your new skills have allowed you to grow without losing the core of who you are. Very impressive!
I love that you mentioned the detail about painting the background while the paint is still wet. I 100% agree and I don't feel like enough people touch on this!!
As i comment on this, i haven't watched the video yet, the thumbnail alone already is GORGEOUS and breathtakingly beautiful, thank you for inspiration!
i love your art :) How much time does it actually have to pass before you can work on a new shift? You always work in layers with oil paint, right? Because it takes so long to dry. Or am I wrong?
I must start painting again. You light a fire within my artist heart. I miss this so much!!
I love that little glow on the background next to the nose ❤
Verry nice. This reminds me of the old saying... "It's not the heat, it's the humidity.".🙂

Cool. The transparency of a oil metallic white will capture the natural prisum. ...we all seek..

Do you need to use more transparent colors when you paint over the grisailles? (Not referring to the glaze)
I noticed the color layer values didn't matche the grisailles. Was that intentional or optimal?
You need to update your profile picture and the banner as they don't reflect the amazing progress that you've made throughout these years
