    I love that you mentioned the detail about painting the background while the paint is still wet. I 100% agree and I don't feel like enough people touch on this!!

    i love your art :) How much time does it actually have to pass before you can work on a new shift? You always work in layers with oil paint, right? Because it takes so long to dry. Or am I wrong?

    Do you need to use more transparent colors when you paint over the grisailles? (Not referring to the glaze)

    I noticed the color layer values didn't matche the grisailles. Was that intentional or optimal?
