Man. I love Gene Simmons. Life Lessons? This dude has got it all sussed and all those who say he has no humility, check out his comments regarding Anne Frank, the Holocaust and his mother. To love life and try and make the most of it is the ultimately the best thing all of us can do.
I'm convinced that Gene is such a polarizing figure because not only is he successful, but he rigorously defends his success and will tell people "you're wrong, here's reason a, b and c." His logical and entrepreneurial approach to everything turns a lot of people off, and it's not hard to see. That says more about the state of society than it does Gene, though.

Gene Simmons just oozes cool, calm, common sense. He's a self-made man and if the general public had the drive, determination and will-power that Gene has in his pinky finger we'd ALL be better off.
I like this man, he knows what he is doing.

This is inspiring actually... the whole perspective---- good philosophy about the 'light'...Concentration camps were horrid-any survivor that is still living should be commended on the bravery they had to survive hell...Rock on Gene Simmons...oh and by the way- i agree- if someone wants to ruin their lives on drugs or whatever- tell them go for it-I'd rather enjoy the sacred time as one life is one short lifetime here on Earth..

I visited the Anne Franke house last May.
Truly a moving experience, if you're ever in the area I can't recommend it enough. It will genuinely put everything into perspective, and will hit you hard what the Nazis put people through.
This guy sat on the couch with the wife of Billy Connely. He insulted her that maybe Billy wasn't satisfying her properly. In true tradition she handled it with dignity. How would gene feel if this remark was made about his wife. Gene you are a has been, clutching at straws. Just go away.

Hey Gene, people wouldn't need help from the government if corporations/business owners paid people a living wage with decent benefits. These businesses lay people off at the first drop in sales. The big corporations make billions and avoid paying taxes in any way they can!!
My friends, I love both of your comments. I think there's a middle ground, and I believe middle grounds are what America is all about. I agree companies should pay a little more, but you can't depend on men who just want cash though! That is why competing men in suits is a lot of who you see being successful. But the common worker definitely helps these men. That is why we have classes, poor, middle class, and rich.

I totally agree that leadership should come from experience. Hey Gene I like your philosophies and ideas on where and what we should be doing - BUT I don't subscribe to your ideas on mental health. I would like to know what you would do if you would do if you had to go through the depths of depression that a lot of normal people go through including myself on occasions that make you feel like the only way out is to pull the pin on life .
You mentioned employing vets now I think that is all well and good but have you spared a thought for the vets that have been affected by PTSD?? Please think before you speak of something that you have never experienced or are ever likely to.

An historical when Human's couldn't talk, one of the biggest ways of communicating was through the eyes.
An If I was interviewing someone with sunglasses on I would find in highly disrespectful (so you'd be surprised at how I view Women in Burkas).

What an egotistical person. Depression is a real illness and possibly the biggest killer in our society. Instead of our Governments imposing revenue raising rules, put our taxes at work to help depressed people, even those people that are highly "successful" and struggle to deal with depression.

Following up on Gene Simmons get ppl to work instead of paying them for nothing. Maybe we ought to have the option for the unemployed that if they can get 10 people together in a similar situation.They have a choice either stay on unemployment collecting checks for nothing OR, can get all of their unemployment at once and that is used to start a cooperative business. If they choose to take all of unemployment $ for the business they can no longer collect unemployment. That is their only shot, but at least its a productive way to get people working when there is no WORK!!! Italy does this and its very successful. More info at rdwolff.

Funny, you see I was born poor. That's why my english isn't the best. Now I'm higher middle class. I think anarchy is good because there are so many people held back from doing so many great things. Sure people are held back from doing bad things as well thanks to the law, but they happen anyway! Murders, thievery, rape, and many others. So why can't companies become monopolies, or why can't someone become a vigilante?

Always been a KISS fan, read all the books, but would not care to interact with this guy.
His life story is great up until he found fame. Him Mom was and is a brave woman who get them to the USA and Gene was a good kid who knew no English and learned to read from comic books. Like I said I love the old KISS music but just not a fan of the "New Gene".
