I can see that a lot of people doesnt understand what tool assisted speedrun is (TAS), in the core, is an emulated version of the game probably been played in slow mo, with macros, turbo inputs, save states and more. the result is something no human can replicate or even try, glitches and bugs are extra stuff we can achive with those tools. This is for me, some sort of art.
MKT on PS1 was nuts back then. Noob, Human Smoke, and Rain were easily three of the most busted characters in that game. I think Dark Noob has TAS's of those characters too (if not all of them), but don't quote me on that.

Also, you can beat the cheap AI mostly by using busted characters - Rain has an easy mind control orb and lightning infinite and Noob Saibot's no-block ball melts everyone (there's a reason Noob is banned in MKT tournaments).
As a kid, I always thought Kung Lao says "Look at you naked" when he did that Raiden move. Also, I had the game on the PS1 and Shao Khan was the easiest big boss out of the 4 for me. Motaro was the hardest imo.
I had Mortal Kombat Trilogy years ago on Playstation. When I defeated Shao Khan and selected an icon to view the ending, the screen goes black. This happen when you're playing MKT on PS2 or PS3.

Here's one thing that people don't know when they are computer version of the game you can tweak them to do anything it's not surprising in normal person could not do this
its running the cancel glitch. hitting someone with a roundhouse, like that can not just cancel. there is a code that allows all cancels, you can juggle the player until 100% health loss. A, C, Up, B, Up, B, A, Down will open cheats option, on Genesis/Mega Drive which is what I think this is.
