The 2022 gsxr 1000r is the first bike I’ve bought new since my 2005 gsxr 1000. The mechanical grey has pearl in the sunlight. It’s growing on me more and more. The handling is amazing! I’ve turned all the electronics off and will be getting rid of the abs as well. The midrange on the k5 feels more robust and powerful. Once I hit 600 miles on the 2022 I’ll have a better comparison. The 2022 feels very similar to the k5 and k6. The bike bmw based the s1000rr off of. Still don’t know how Suzuki didn’t sue the 💩 out of them for copying the GSXR…… Suzuki has finally came out with an amazing bike again! Suzuki are the best all around bike.

Guys the new engine in the gixxr is no joke with vvt when you flash with velocity stack, air intake, and full titanium exhaust it make insane amount of torque and horsepower. It’s very lean. All you need to do is change the sprocket for high-speed because the gixxr is not as good as the other ones on the gearing. Nothing beats it🙌🏽
the comparison should be between GSX-R with letter R behind vs ZX-10 with an R. and its the same for non-R version. so this video is not so apple to apple

Yamaha guy myself, But I like the Suzuki. Less techno/computer rider BS, and cheaper. But for the most part engine/performance, damn near same, if not better than the Kawi. In .my opinion, I wish any of the big 4 would sell an all motor "hard"version of these. No fly by wire, no motor curve settings, no anti-lock, no wheelie control, no unnecessary techno crap. It's a sportbikes. Learn to ride it. Take it out in the rain, and learn throttle maturity, and smooth input. Definitely would knock off several grand. And would sell like a mf.

I really like the looks of it, the updated features etc. I think it comes down to personal preference and this just does it for me. Metallic Diablo Black / Metallic Matte Graphenesteel Gray EU spec for me though, not a huge fan of the KRT spec.
Anyway, I chose the ZX10R. The history of winning the championship is suing. And when racing, it doesn't lose if the ZX10R has a variable valve system and reduces weight. will be stronger

Are you sure it is gsx-r1000 and not the higher spec gsx-r1000(R) ? Wow, with that pricing, the gsxr sales number must be really really bad there. Much more expensive but with least features 😅.

You are getting the power of the 10R wrong. It is 213 and not 203. At low speeds and rpm it is 203 but at higher rpm (where the bike actually works at), it is 213 due to ram air induction. And here you are comparing the max power of the bikes, so 213 is correct figure.
