- Famous Magician "Pekin of Wolves" is being sued by fans who saw his latest show after a card throwing incident. "It was a mistake anyone could make." Said Pekin to the local press after the incident. "I mistook my signature Cowboy Hat for a Rabadons Deathcap and that caused my cards which have huge ratios to severely hurt anyone within the audience who got hit.", We were told that around 4 members in the audience went to the hosptial for their injury's. Fans are thankful after hearing Pekin said he would help pay all hospital bills of those who were injured, while some were so upset at the mistake they are taking him to court.

In relation to the European car stuff: it's an acutal real politic in the US from decades, to not import cultural things from other countries when there are similar products in the internal market. Think about the movies, in the US is more common to remake the movies that succeded outside, like it happend in the j-horror wawe (the ring, the grudge, those kind of movies, insthead of dubbing them, they were straight up remade with an US production). For the same reason you only recently started to mass-import like european cars, and in general if there is a good from outside, and the US production system is able to make something similar, there was up until recently very few chances that you'll have the original, outside made product, so that's why you never heard of European car industries. If someone is more knowledgeble on the topic, feel free to butt in, i'm not an expert on the subject but I'm kinda interested in the thing
I don’t think the US population in general is shy about importing things, it’s probably specifically Re:European cars. US cars and roads are huge and are the vast majority of public infrastructure for transportation, whereas Europe is a lot less car-centric. So US cars are a lot bigger than their European counterparts for probably around the same price points for the majority of car styles, main exception would be for high performance or luxury brands like Jaguar, Ferrari, etc
