I have the same exact printer. I simply went to setup, maintenance, nozzle cleaning. Ran the automatic nozzle clean 5 times and now it prints perfectly. For me, there was no need to take anything apart or buy the cleaning kit. The printer does it all itself. For anyone out there watching this video- try the self nozzle cleaning first. Worked for me!
Just curious, what would happen if I didn't allow the drying time before re-installing the printer cartridges? Also, prior to using your kit, I had just installed (days ago) brand new ink. I printed one page and it used a just over 1/3 of my yellow ink. Now I've used your kit. Should I really throw away the remaining 2/3 of my less than 1 week old yellow ink? I'm trying to understand if the issue is to do with potential air bubbles or lack of pressure, or simply freshness? Thank you Brandon.
Followed the instructions to the letter however the 545 is not recognizing the replacement ink cartridges (purchased via your link). I tried cleaning the contacts, etc. still getting the same error. I've also tried unplugging the printer to try and reset the memory but... Are you aware that on the ink cartridges just above the contacts there is a very, very small upside-down "Epson" that has some sort of paint covering it? Will its removal (when you clean the contacts) affect the recognizability of the cartridge when installed?
I have the exact printer. Do I HAVE to buy a new set of ink to manually clean the print head, or can I just remove the new pack I installed and put it back in when the flush is over in the 24hr period? I did the nozzle check thinking it was just the old ink running out and when I printed it, the black was the only one missing.

Hi there, this is Mansour, I did end up calling epson support tech about my ( on it's way) epson et 2760 concerning copping 8 by 14 , he said yes and to go to screen and choose LEGAL size and i would be able to print , but i told him the glass intake size is not even 14 inch how could I copy a paper that long , he kept saying yes sir it will....so i am hoping i can otherwise i have to send it back , so with that being said, what do you think , should i send it back or should i try what he said first and if not send it back... Tks for all your videos
I have a wf100 for my business. I went on vacation and didn't use it for a couple of months. Now it prints only blanck pages. cleaning the nozzle and print head has done nothing. I have your cleaning kit but I can't find any info on how to clean these heads on this model. It is a mobile business printer. I think I paid nearly 500 bucks for it. Maybe used 20 times since I bought it. Can you help me with this?
Well, after giving each color a full 10ml yesterday I waited for 24 hours for it to dry, and performed the head cleaning as described. The inside of the printer was evidently not nearly dry enough, because the paper came out surprisingly damp. There are still a number of gaps in every color. Blue, Pink, and Yellow all slightly improved, but black did not improve at all. I'd say the colors are around 90% and the first column of black is 90%, but the second and third column of black have not shown up at all. I'm pretty disappointed because I followed your instructions very carefully, pausing and rewatching parts to ensure I didn't miss anything. The only thing I didn't try was heating up the solution, but I was able to push 10 ml of fluid through the printer head for each color by just pressing firmly. I feel that I wasted time, the money spent on the kit, and the money spent on new printer cartridges. If the video had at least had a "if it STILL doesn't work, it means..." caveat, I'd at least feel less futile about my efforts because I'd at least have a diagnosis.
I wouldn't give up so easily, what I would do now is running a printhead cleaning from the maintenance section on the printer. That is going to push the color back into the system. Just make sure you have full ink.

Most of us who came to this point have already run the head cleaning cycle several times.

Started this tutorial because I needed my printer and now I have to wait 24 hours before I can use it. Great I’ll be going to the library.
You gotta do what you gotta do.

Yes if the ink already installed is mainly full you can reuse them.

Hey Mansour, yes why don’t you try it out first. You can always send it back if it doesn’t work out.
@@BestPrinters that's what I'll do.

You will need to return the kit, the wf 100 model does not have a printhead that can be accessed.
