I think Rogers struggles against us for several reasons. First, is the Jets poor pass protection and Rogers lack of mobility. SF has a bunch of new faces on their defensive line. However, I do think they will be far more effective with Bosa and Floyd coming off the edges as well as Hargrove and company coming up the middle. Rogers will be under pressure the whole game which will force him to throw quicker. I can see SF’s secondary stepping up big and getting a couple of picks. I know the Jets have a solid defense but I have faith in SF’s offense.
The pressure is on Purdy to have another stellar year to be the highest paid QB
I hope Purdy takes the Brady path and instead of extorting the team salary cap forcing the dismantling of a competitive team (like Dallas). While he has shown great promise, I don't think putting him in a position to "carry" a team makes any sense.

All of these fans expecting Brock Purdy to take less of a payday when he has already played at a rate love than the place kicker. He's playing for less money over 4 years than most players in the entire league. I want Brock Purdy get the payday he deserves and not a penny less. Let the 49ers structure the deal like the Chiefs structured Mahomes or some kind of contract remedy. It's not Brock Purdy's responsibility to carry the 49ers organization financially. Get your much deserved payday Brock Purdy!
Here's hoping that he's smart like Brady and takes a team-friendly deal. Massachusetts has some of the highest taxes in America and Brady made it work!

Of Purdy gets paid you better believe that the 49ers will become a bad team. You can't pay his skill set and let the talent go around him and remain competitive. His talent isn't the kind that will elevate average players like Mahomes . Look around the league and its the case for more talented players.
I truly hope Brock Purdy does grow as a quarterback and he does get paid. I am not ready to say he will have a good 2025. If it’s like college his senior year was a step backwards. I truly hope history doesn’t repeat itself. It’s too early to say how Brock will do this season.
Purdy has always been a TEAM PLAYER! Even at college he has been like that. He won’t demand top 5 QB money, he will be paid like a top 10 QB but not because he demands it. Purdy knows what it takes to win.!

Purdy is a true Christian who I think really wants to win. I think he will give up a lot of money to help the team out. He's not interested in being the highest paid player at the cost of his team. It's not about money for him.
Not taking the absolute top dollar doesn't help the team out as much as it helps PURDY out.
If you are already getting 30 million (or whatever) a year, would you rather have a great surrounding cast or take 40 (or whatever) and have to carry the entire load by yourself?
It's to Purdy's advantage not to soak the team for every dollar they can pay.
