Why
Bruh, I built the sky tower in Minecraft in 1 to 1 scale and it was perfect. The roof had warped steers with no sharp corners, and the black pillars are black stone walls. The only inaccurate part was the door and that’s it.
The stairs kinda make it look okay, but it doesn’t exactly represent the LEGO set. The door is mainly what throws it off though.

The pig set was so cursed! I never thought it would be that hard to recreate in Minecraft!

The tan bricks in the Wool Farm set are actually Birch wood, hence the birch tree in the set.

I built the pig house to what I’d call a great success with a friend last summer. Just don’t try to replicate the scale of the set, use more accurate proportions.

The thing is lego cant make a new piece just for the set for example the double chest cant be remade so they use the normal chest so they have limits
Yeah, LEGO tends to reuse many pieces. I don’t mind it though. I still really enjoy the sets.
Dude, you're not considering how Minecraft sets aren't build to scale to the game but to the Lego minifig system. If they did everything to scale, then minifigures can't walk through doors, lay down in beds, etc. The set designers know this so you aren't pointing out anything illegal but something that would be impossible to replicate in Lego.
Don’t worry, I know that’s why they aren’t to scale. The point was to just show that the sets and game aren’t equal in scale, and that’s okay. I still love the LEGO Minecraft’s sets for what they are 😁

I had a 2 second nostalgia trip whenever the set was complete. I played the OG Lego Star Wars and very nearly 100% it. I even got the Gonk Droid, the most expensive character in the game. Yo make this even more nostalgic, you should've added 'Minecraft' by C418.
I’m just letting you know that you can use smooth sandstone instead of stripped birch, it’s technically tan and it’s cleaner than stripped birch

Carry the mooshroom then use an elytra and fireworks to fly back to the place she started.
Actually, you can spawn a mushroom if you go over to the spawn eggs in nature, they’re called mob eggs and you gotta find the correct one

I'd say the most important piece in Minecraft is wood. You need it to make a crafting table, and all the essential tools.

I did the Pig House in my former server and it went well, you can't scale 1:1 with the set, more like 1:2 or 1:3, the secret is in the proportion of the pig head, the rest goes smooth if you do correctly the head
I remember getting my first Lego Minecraft set in 2014 and I did this it was a farm with a birch tree and skeleton ton

You could've taken some creative liberties with the trickier ones, like with the illegal doors and gates in LEGO you place down double doors and gates in MC, or with that sword in the barrel just place the sword inside the barrel's inventory

Imagine that, the set with phantoms is the worst set. Almost like phantoms suck and nobody even wants to put in the effort.....
Anyways, I like to think of Minecraft and Lego Minecraft as two separate things. Where Minecraft has its laws and rules, Lego capitalizes on those limitations Minecraft has. Lego has blocks that Minecraft does not, Lego is just using Minecraft as a rough framework.
Look at Lego Minecraft beds for example. They're to scale with a Lego Minifigure.

I 100% agree. I still think LEGO x Minecraft so the greatest collab. They’re my favorite LEGO sets.

I made a lot of my lego sets into Minecraft. For example, I made that one bunny house, and the sleeping fox house 🐰🦊🏠
i mean lucky they fixed the chest design - but ye beds and doors are too big but thats cuzx of figures - they are not in scale of minecraft block - actually figures are very non proportional in general when u try build realistic cars/houses for them
The new design looks really nice. And yeah, the minifigs make it tough to make sets to scale.

Blackstone walls still aren’t fully black though. They have a brick texture to them :(
@@MKMBrick yeah but there are such things as just Blackstone walls and polished Blackstone (witch still looks brick like but less like bricks)
Side note it has been a while since i built with Blackstone so i may be wrong on this but i am pretty sure there are 3 variants of Blackstone wall. You are definitely right on the roof tho thats just straight up impossible without mods

@@jevilplayer6335 Yep, you’re right on that. They all have a bit of a texture, but more or less could represent the black pillars.
The roof is the real main issue though. It’s just way too detailed lol.
You could have probably used colored banners for the pig face but they are abt 2 blocks tall so no use

They are! Which I think is part of the reason the sets themselves aren’t to scale.

The only reason the beds are elongated are to fit a minifigure, as they are 6 studs tall.

Doing them in hardcore is even crazier. They are definitely not easy to make. Some are easier than others though.
