Sermon Title: The Elijah Story and Matthew 24 - Pastor Stephen Bohr
Intro from the lesson quarterly: In the Epistle to the Ephesians, Paul tells us about the Ephesians themselves. Years after the exciting events of the early days of Christian mission in Ephesus, the Ephesians struggled with the significance of their Christian faith. Paul spends a good deal of his letter expressing his excitement for this new pattern of what it means to be human through membership in God’s church. He is especially invigorated by the thought that God has joined estranged segments of humanity-Jews and Gentiles-as one in the church. In living out unity where hostility would be expected, they have an opportunity to exhibit the characteristics of God’s new society and the coming kingdom. 🌏

AMEN! Thank you, Pastor, for this Bible study. As prophesied, past history of the dark ages, and persecution of GOD’S commandments keeping people will be repeated, before the second coming of JESUS CHRIST. LORD, give us the Faith of JESUS. Increase and strengthen our Faith in Him everyday, and give us the power to overcome all temptations and sins. Matthew 24: 13, “But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.” We are almost home! Beth

Love the lady's comment about how praising God improves health and aids in removing depression. I struggle everyday not to give into depression and discouragement. If I praise God out loud it really makes a difference. Have to force myself at first. Thank you

The sermon reminds me of an observation I made yesterday concerning the opening of Jesus' messages to the churches particularly the time of the end church at Philadelphia and the end-of-time church at Laodicea. In a concise way that is chock full of meaning, Jesus addresses them according to the message each was to deliver and the circumstances of each church. For the end-of-time Laodicean church the telling part of Jesus' message is in Revelation 3:14 "And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, THE BEGINNING OF THE CREATION OF GOD." (Edit: meaning that the truth about the Bible Sabbath would be the message for the Laodicean church to proclaim.)
I can relate same thing happened to me this women with this account because of greed did this
