We lived in Pine Junction, colorado several years ago and one day I was walking down the road and saw a path leading into the woods. It turned out to be a whole network of trails like that between the lots and forest areas. I didn't know it was even there. Some of the trails were long and went through areas of woods where you couldn't see any houses. It was a wonderful find and we walked it every day for exercise as there were some good hilly sections.
Those little pockets of forest and the park both with the cleared out floor is also great place for kids to play and climb. I remember when I was growing up playing and climbing trees like this and the forest areas I played in were nowhere near as nice or safe as this.
What a nice place, In some ways looks like many of these in the states but someone took a few extra hours and 'fixed' in during its design. These paths don't take up to much space i doubt the extra green, paths etc probably take up 5%? space (would be interesting to know) and i am sure people who are lucky enough to live there will smile everytime they are outside. The only thing missing is small kids running around or on there little bicycles. For sure one of the nicer places ive seen and something you feel you want to visit as a holiday. The designers and people who live and maintain it (I am sure there are very strict HOA rules) should be proud of what they created.
Yeah, the little kids were not out while I was filming, and the school-age kids were in class, as you can hear them in Part One as I roll past the school, but I did witness children exploring these areas and the community in general with much joy.
I've seen similar walking pathways in Venice, California, near the beach and around the canals, a high-rent district. Seaside looks more extensive. In the Paris suburbs, several towns have such walkways as well.

Yeah, these #activityassets are truly gems supporting a culture of activity and community connectivity

Yes! That is such an important point, and I did see many kids exploring these areas.
