She hasn't joined the film crews for more than 2 years now. At this point my guess is that she doesn't want to and is not because no one gives her a script and seems like she enjoys doing a dance variety show+some varieties that don't take her time that much.

@@JeanGunnhildr88 Yes, it seems because she wants to focus on her variety and dancing career. Maybe one day she'll get back into it but she wants to focus on this ; she'll have more opportunities for sure when she's ready to change it up again.
Would love to see Cheng Xiao perform this kind of dance during movie or drama awards show.. will go well with historical theme.. her grace and such.. the dance itself takes you on a journey.. a story on its own..❤❤❤
Cheng Xiao and traditional dancing is always the best to watch. My eyes has always been glued onto the screen when she's on stage. The performance, creativity and how the story comes to life ; she knows how to create a story in her dancing. This is her specialty. I'll continue to be in awed.
She should go for Britain's Got Talent and showcase the Beauty of traditional Chinese dance. This crew with a great choreographer plus Chen Xiao's dancing ability will be flawless...
