I am going to get this one - but make two changes - replace the Pilot (which is a joke for the 190), and also repaint the tail and add the correct decal, or paint it on myself - Nice look and thanks for the Video .. Keep it honest and looking forward to the build
Build and maiden were done in sequence: Build ruclips.net/video/WMFAHAJi0iQ/видео.html Maiden ruclips.net/video/TEYr6BkMZi0/видео.html This is a very easy flying warbird. Excellent ground handling characteristics and while the motor/prop setup isn't a barn-burner, it's what I'd call serviceable. It's in that zone I think where some will be content with it and some will want more power.
Is Bitgo going to help you build the larger hanger that you’re gonna need? Dang man, they’ve been awesome to you. Next paycheck I’ll be ordering the Waco. I have the FW-190 (Phoenix Model) already. That one will go together a lot faster though. The subtle Camo is a nice touch.
Bitgo has been an excellent partner to the channel. I hope RCVR viewers appreciate what they've done by getting this much equipment out for review. I'm highly appreciative of their investment in the channel. Funny you mention storage: On Sunday, I had to tear the racks apart and re-build them. I glued the bottom three rows on each rack and added 1 to 2 levels to each one. I even gave a plane away, and broke down an old broken one. I had some planes on the ground when this started, so I needed more storage space anyway.
Red really pops on bright days. It’s another story when it’s overcast though. I watched the maiden video the other day and when it taxied onto the runway I immediately thought of Harley Davidson baggers while looking at the lower wing. It has a similar aesthetic with the swoopy low to the ground trailing edge like custom HD baggers.
The Tail “Logo” is illegal in some European countries so the manufacturers leave that out. Callie Graphics can supply those, at least in the U.S. I don’t know about elsewhere.
Another good review. Buying one of these from a friend that has been upgraded already.
Oh? What upgrades?
@@RCVideoReviews if i remember correctly the servos.
Shadow Opp.'s RC Ahhh. Have you flown it?
Nice looking plane. Look forward to seeing how it builds and flies.
John Stahl Thanks John. Build video is on the way. Hopefully the maiden will happen this weekend.
That’s high praise. Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it.

What color Waco are you going to get?
RC Video Reviews everyone has the Yellow one. I’m kinda leaning towards the Red one. I like to be different! Plus I think I’ll see it better.

Thank you for the sensitivity.
You're welcome.

Thanks for the info Dave. I'm sure Callie can get the job done for those who want the authentic markings.
i see they finally painted that top main gear plate camo instead of blue
Yep, that is definitely not the same color as the wing. Was that a thing?
@@RCVideoReviews Yeah they had the Receiving Plate for the main gear Blue Forever and it totally clashed with the camo top..
@@looneytunes47 Certain details get glossed over sometimes like red lights on starboard wings. Thanks for the info.
Only freewing does the swastika. They make very detail conscious planes
You forgot to say something about how bad the pilot figure provided is ..LOL... its the worst ....
What did yours look like? The one in my kit came with a little more modern equipment than was appropriate for the time. i.e. Jet helmet.
