Really? His handling of this situation has been disrespectful. He could have let them sell him, and recoup something to allow them to rebuild. After all, they made him the highest paid player in football and gave him a say in transfers. They gave him so much. He could have gone for record money, but prioritized his big signing bonus, instead of allowing the club to recoup from their biggest asset. Al-Khaleifi turned it down saying he was not selling at any cost (MBappe had asked to leave). He then embarked on a personal feud with Perez and RM then did not wanted to negotiate (or reward ) them anymore. Later he wanted RM to make an offer but we kept our stance. So - PSG doesn't get to recoup any money because of their dumb behaviour. BTW - we kept that $200M and invested it in Bellingham and Tchouameni and the joining bonus for MBappe himself. Make sense?
