Also: I’m NOT saying Buddhism is the right path, but we Christian’s demonize it so much when Buddha was a man, who never claimed to be God and lived in a different culture many years before Jesus. the Bible says in Roman’s the gentiles will have the moral law written on their hearts and its evident Buddha did.
Abraham is called the father of faith; and Christianity is the faith in the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Abraham is the only person that God cut a covenant with and Jesus declared that He has been in existence even before Abraham was born (John 8:58). So, is your Buddha older than Abraham? It's obvious that you have no idea that satan transformed from Lucifer, the one who was with God. He seeks to present himself as God (Isaiah 14:14). So, if he came through Buddha, what do you think he would present? Something spiritual but of course the counterfeit. I pray that Almighty God would open your eyes to the truth before it is too late for you.

This was before the church age and evangelism. His goal wasn’t to start a religion, he was a gentile who questioned the nature of things and wanted answers that only Jesus can provide.

Please don't embarrass yourself. Buddhism emerged even before Christianity. The similarity is not because someone stole it, but more because it grew in a completely different and far region, where there was someone who thought of this logic: The more you want stuff, the more you will be attached, and the more you will suffer from it. Out of millions of people, some who pondered a lot would have thought of such logic, and it doesn't necessarily mean the 'stole' from Christianity. Many regions have this philosophy, and they didn't necessarily have any contact with Christianity at the time.
Also, Buddhism in its core doctrine did not recognise Jesus as a teacher. Jesus was not even part of the Bodhisattvas or the Buddhas. Redeemed Zoomer has actually a lot more ability to be more balanced and unbiased in his videos, and he is also a Christian. So you should know that you can do better by not bending the truth.
I love the video (and the channel) and please allow me to ask a critical question! In the section on buddhism you say that "A lot of these came AFTER Christianity so they're gonna take from Christianity". But as far as I've seen, Buddhism was founded in 600 BC, so how can it be that buddhism then steals from Christianity?

This is not Christianity. He believes Jesus teaches Buddhism & simply Jesus is the forerunner that we must follow to work our way into heaven. False gospel.
A lot of great info to be aware of! However graphic can be misleading, in the sense that we must not only believe Christianity is true to be saved- as in give mental ascent to the facts- but totally SURRENDER our lives to Christ the Messiah who died for us. Only believing mentally with no change would be a false doctrine/ false gospel. (Because the demons believe and tremble).
I know we know this but had to say for those who may not know. When I was little I grew up under the assumption that anyone who believes Jesus exists and rose from the dead would be saved (even if they lived wrong). I recognize and appreciate the hard work that was put into this on both ends though!

There are a bunch of different denominations of Christianity, some teach different things, so only one of those can be the true religion.
Whether you believe or not, you cannot deny how Religion has shaped our world since their conception. And whenever you begin to question God, you find answers. Because that's how you mature spiritually and how you truly understand that you know so little and it would be impossible to begin to understand God without faith. Once you do, you start walking the path and you won't know where it ends, but I bet you can track where you truly began to believe. It's hard, you'll miss signs, and may not be be the best version of yourself yet, but the will to seek that understanding and truly letting go of Ego and accept that maybe there is someone who is watching over your life for a greater purpose than yourself and your works may inspire others to do so as well. You may still need reassurance, but walking the path is much more than being sure of God's existence, but actually feeling his love through what you go through and experience. I made the argument that people who have it really bad have no way to wrap their head around, because they have no proof of God's existence they might say. It's been nothing but suffering and pain, so how could they ever? And I have asked myself: "If I was on that situation, would I believe in God!" Probably not, I'm not that strong, yet Throughout my own struggles, God kept calling me and I chose to listen. And I believe that's how you start, by choosing. @purechannel5302 So many times, Isreal fell and was rebuilt. Its people suffered, were enslaved, fled to other lands, and were separated from one another. The Bible covers this, and it was backed up in historical accounts. The fact that there are still Jewish people is confirmation for me that God is fulfilling his promise to Abraham's line. They will live on as a people, no matter what, even if they turn their backs on God and go after other gods. God made it clear what would happen if they went down that path, but still, they will remain, and He will wait for them to come back to Him.
Believing in God is not going to free you from hardship. He cause his sun to rise on the evil and the good, he sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.

Christianity is not the oldest religion, I'm not going to say it's false (not saying it's true either) but there are religions much older (Buddhism actually came BEFORE Christianity, as did Hinduism) so you may not be correct on them stealing things from Christianity.
I've totally binge watched all of Redeemed zoomers video's, it's nice to see you reacting to this video he made, i'd like to see you react to more of his content. As you are a devoted Christian, you have your own views regarding various other religions. I don't know how much of your opinions are facts as I am not a follower of that religion. However, I would like to point out 11:47 where you say "Mohammad was visited by a demon"
This is not true and Mohammad was in fact visited by a Gabriel in a cave, not the Devil... I will first give some general points in favor of my argument:
1) In Islam you recite this verse before doing anything, *Auzubillah Minashaitan Nirajeem* which means “I seek refuge in Allah from the outcast Shaitan [Satan or Devil]”. Now I will ask, If it really was the Devil who visited him then why did he tell Mohammad about seeking refuge in God away from himself? Weird right, when Satan himself is the biggest enemy of God.
2) The message of Islam is to believe in one God who created everything. He is al-mighty, al-knowing, and al-powerful... The msg of Islam is similar to that of Judaism and Christianity however unlike Christianity it doesn't believe in the doctrine of the Trinity, so it's more similar to Judaism... Now, If the Devil really visited Mohammad then why did the Devil tell him about 1 God who is the most powerful. Why did he tell him that he is an enemy of that God and not to believe in him. This seems as if the Devil was trying to help Mohammad himself by keeping him away from himself, lol...
These are just general basic points that a person regardless of religion can think about. Moving on:
1) When Mohammad ran back home after seeing the unknown entity [Gabriel or Devil from your perspective] He said to Khadija [his wife] "Cover me cover me, I believe something has happened to me". He didn't mention anything about a demon or devil in his conversation with her. Any normal human being would be confused and frightened if they were placed in the experience of First Revelation [the event regarding him being visited by Angel Gabriel... 2) He ﷺ didn't just come out and say, 'I'm a prophet. Listen to me. He ﷺ begins by asking the people basically, 'If I were to warn you of something, would you believe me?' And the people of Mecca respond in the affirmative and that they never knew him ﷺ to be a liar. Whether they believed He ﷺ was a Prophet or not, they couldn't call him ﷺ a liar. In fact, his ﷺ prophecy was confirmed by his wife's cousin [Waraqah ibn Nawfal who was a Christian.]

I will say it is borrowing from Christ because the idea of desire for worldly things leading to suffering, but this is simply because it’s true regardless who says it. There are other teachings in Buddhism that are false and that’s why (of course also as it does not preach Christ) we should reject it

Dude, Buddah died 450 years before Jesus was born. What do you mean it came after Christianity? Even your "a lot of these came after Christianity" claim is questionable. Of the actual religions in this video, only Sikhism, Islam, and Deism came after Christianity (you can make an argument for Paganism, as the Paganism practiced today is a modern revival of an older, pre-Christian religion. And I'm not counting "spritual" or "athiest" as religions, as they are the explicit lack of religion). Hinduism is the oldest still practiced religion in the world, Buddhism is at minimum 400 years older than Christianity, and Judaism necisserily predates Christ. So 3 are newer, 3 are older, and 1 is a newer interpretation of an older religion. Christianity is basically middle aged amung major religions.

What do you mean? Siddhartha Gautama, the Buddha most people are talking about when they say Buddha, lived in the 10th century BCE. Our dating system has nothing to do with that.
@@EumenesOCardia what I meant was we can't really say Buddha died this amount of years before Christ because it will never be exact. Either if he lived in the 10th century or not. That's all I meant but it doesn't really have anything to do with my first point, so my second point doesn't really matter.

Also I just realised that if that claim is true that he lived in the 10th century, he lived in the times of the old Testament so that's pretty cool.
@@I_like_Rubies We know the exact dates of plenty of things that happened before Christ. The year 0 AD/CE is basically arbitrary. And we can say pretty certainly that he died 5-6 hundred years before Christ. (I was wrong, he was 5th or 6th c. Call out to Him from your heart sincerely and ask Him to reveal Himself to you. You'll be surprised that He is real, that He hears even if you don't open your lips and talk only in your mind and heart to Him. I know because He did it for me. He has been waiting to enter your life (Revelation 3:20).
What about people who claim personal experience from another religion? I have Jewish ancestry and recently got into Judaism and started following Mitzvot (commandments). Even with just the little bit I have been doing I have been seeing a tremendous positive impact on my life. Jews don't believe that Jesus is the messiah. So does my personal experience mean that Jesus isn't the messiah?
