"If you don't already have a successful guitar player's track record, the producers question whatever you do instead of welcome it"... I've learned to write down bits and pieces of these interviews with these fascinating, successful artists ... What a wonderful world of knowledge...One thing I've noticed among all of these great players who have made it is that they are all pleasant people with whom to work. When I reflect over the bands I've had, I have no idea why band members would drive long distances to rehearse with me when I made it anything but fun....
I've got a friend , Henry " Butch " Carter who told me about Louie. I'm glad he did . Didn't know he was from Arkansas. Love this interview, wish I could meet him . I'd hope to learn from him . Thank You for posting.
THE 60’s and 70’s we had it made the music was as good as it could get!!! There was some great songs after that , but those were the best !!! The music was clean and honest!!! The musics was real !!!! PLAYERS LIKE LOUIS AND THEM MADE IT HAPPEN real talent !!! THEN THE MONEY GRUBBERS AND THE IDIOTS MOVED IN AND RUINED IT ALL!!! WE LLOST THE GREATNESS OF IT ALL !!!! NOW LOOK AT WHAT WE ENDED UP WITH !!! YES, WE LOST IT !!!
What I find amazing beyond the obvious is that how he remembers all these parts exactly how they are played.

A lot of people either don’t know or forgot that Motown Records moved from Detroit to LA in the early seventies.
