JASP Tutorial: Learn Stats Module EFFECT SIZES (Mini-Series)

  • In this JASP video, I discuss a new beta module in JASP called "LEARN STATS". We continue this mini series with an in-depth look at the EFFECT SIZES function! User beware: the module and its functions are in beta, and so they may not work properly!

    Pearson's correlation (r)
    Contingency Coefficient (phi)

    Hi Alexander, I follow all your videos because they are very good and instructive, I have told you on another occasion. I see that lately you make more videos for the JASP series. At present, what would be your advice for a novice researcher in the area of Social Sciences. JASP or Jamovi? taking into account the advances of the last versions of both softwares.

      For a novice researcher? Jamovi hands down. While JASP has these cool Learn Stats modules, I think Jamovi is the easier one to use overall, from a basic understanding standpoint.

      ​@@AlexanderSwan thank you. By other hand, to go deep, JASP is advancing a lot in the last years. For example, JASP have a solution for inter-rater agreement , jamovi don´t have it.
