Thank you SO MUCH for making this video! I've been wanting to try your hack of this pattern for months (cut out the pattern but got intimidated lol). I really appreciate videos like this one that can help us (learning to sew/dupe clothes) enjoy, customize, and access FREE patterns! one of the best in the game tysm
Sewed a vest for a school thing and it got me interested in sewing, this is really cool stuff and I can think of a few modifications I would do to this jacket to make it my own. Very inspiring stuff!!!
Great hacks and video! You've inspired me to try this now, as I just started my Paola Jacket. I especially love the pocket hack. Thanks so much for posting!
What a lovely video and the pattern is absolutely gourgeous! Thank you so much! I'm gonna look for a fabric with a subtle pattern for the pockets, i think it will add another cheeky detail, along with those great curves you showed!
Thanks for the tutorial! When I made mine, I ran I to an issue where the back panel was way too wide and caused some major flaring. I tried sizing down but then it was too tight on the shoulders and arms. what’s the work around for this? I originally tried tapering in the under arm seams, but that caused the cutout “square” that you’ve added to be crooked… thoughts?
Have you tried a wool version of this I want to now after watching this I live in Alaska so wool is go too it will be a little thicker but I’m gonna try it with thinner wool fabric
Why is there a circular cut out - is it for aesthetics or does it create a certain fit? I've seen the circular shape in the buttox area of jeans to create a fuller shape...
This is an excellent pattern tutorial or reminder, especially to print the pattern on card stock. I love that thank you.
Loved this tutorial. Super clear with some great tips for an experienced beginner to sewing clothing. Subscribed.
Great Video and really awesome pattern hack! Look forward to seeing more of your videos for sure!!! Keep on stitching!
B, I'm so glad to see you're doing well and back at these videos!

22:48 This is where I gave up for today. So frustrating 😅
Is there a way to make it longer on the sleeves and on the bottom??
My next project for 2025
Make a boxy motto jacket pattern 😩
Hey I downloaded the pattern file but the patterns are split up into 16 pages and don’t connect. Can you help me please e
It should be 30 pages maybe check your scaling when u print idk tho hope this helps it says to put your scaling at 100%
What color did you use for the topstitch? It’s hard to tell

What size is the jacket that you made? :)
Where do u get the pattern from?
What size did you use?
Damn that’s crazy
This pattern has a big problem. The back going up. You'll see 0:30
