these are the endings you would get for finishing the game in regular dificulty or without winning all matches with a perfect. If you won all games i hardest mode with a perfect, you would get different, bether endings
Not as good as the arcade and sequel versions but a good port none the less. I'm surprised Rare manage to fit a 3d game like Killer Instinct onto the retro Super Nintendo.
In Fulgore's ending, cyborgs rule the world, the original Fulgore cyborg series is now in museums, but the only humans left to view it are now slaves. lol... strange that cyborgs would even build museums which only humans have a need to visit, whose needs, since they are slaves, shouldn't really be that important. Am I the only one who finds this funny? As a kid, of course, you were just happy to have kicked Eyedol's butt... :)
The cyborgs are controlled by Ultratech's leaders. Also, Fulgore's prototype serves to humiliate and weaken the resolve of the people, seeing how your enslaver is considered a hero. At least it seems reasonable to me.
My son is 8 and finally able to pull off some decent combos on my old copy of Killer Instinct, but we're having trouble defeating Eyedol with every character. This saves us time to see the stories, but we're still going to try winning it ourselves with everyone. 😁

You have to appreciate how the developers managed to do a lot with just reusing a few sprites and screenshots
