It includes the very specific post moves in low post by Prime Tim Duncan and large amount of great defensive plays by Tim Duncan during one of the Greatest NBA playoffs performance in the NBA (in 2003) so far.

    Tim Duncan's 2003 playoffs performance are just one of the Greatest, if not the Greatest, of all-time.

    This is up there with Lebron 16 & 09, Shaq 00, Hakeem 95, Jordan 91 & 93 and Bird 84 as one of the greatest playoff runs of the modern era. This was Duncan at his absolute peak.

      Better than LeBron 16 & 09, probably in the same tier with LeBron in 12', kinda better than Shaq in 00' too. That was one of the best individual playoffs performance in NBA history, probably.

    ...top 5 player in nba history...name any other player that took his team to the playoffs each season he played and won 50 or more games each season made 6 nba final appearances and won 5 titles and turned tony and manu into hall of fame players along with pop as a coach and helped kawhi to become who he is now...

      Come on man he made manu.. what Manu did on the court can’t be thought . I’m not taking nothing away from Tim def one of the greats . The Spurs been making the nba playoff since 1990 Duncan got drafted 97 . Spurs is a great organization period . Tim did not make Kawhi . Before Tim they made it to the conference finals to lose against the stacked rockets . He is a all time great . But he not a bill Russell, lebron James , Michael Jordan, Kobe , Kareem, bird. No way . He can’t create his own shit . He can’t shoot the 3 , he can’t guard the perimeter , etc

      @@yancynunez5387 ...duncan is an all time great...2 mvps 5x champion his team always won 50+ games every season that he played...best pf ever...he can't shoot the 3 he didn't have to when he played he was a pf...so Russell and kareem shot 3s...he's been on the all nba teams 15 times tied with kobe and kareem...and 15 total selections to all defense teams more than kobe jordan russell kareem...best player of his generation better than he is not on kobe level cause duncan was better...and he's on the same level as all those players you mentioned...

Michael Jordan responded by saying.. and I quote "there are a lot of great players in the NBA playing right now but if u are asking me for my opinion on who's the greatest basketball player.. I would have to say Tim Duncan. Tim Duncan is the greatest basketball player in the NBA right now." Keep in mind he said this knowing a Shaq, Kobe, Dirk, Wade, LeBron, Iverson, Stoudemire, Marion, KD, KG, etc.. they were all playing in the NBA and at elite level's! Facts💯✌️

    Should of been 2003 DPOY and it would have solidified as the most dominant season in NBA history. He already had Regular season MVP (2nd of his Back to Back). 2003 NBA championship. And 2003 Finals MVP. Not sure why Ben Wallace won it 4 times in a row, basically. Timmy was unstoppable 2003-2007. Crazy.

    Out of the 5,000 or so career playoff points that Tim Ducan scored over his career I'm convinced that he scored at least 1000 of them on Robert Horry alone lmao

    1977 walton, 1994 hakeem, 2003 duncan, 2011 dirk, 2019 kawhi some of the great induvial playoff by a lone (superstar) player

      Definitely. Dont know much about Walton, but 1994 Hakeem and 2003 Duncan are definitely the best of the best, 2011 Dirk and 2019 Kawhi coming right after them. All are great playoffs runs.

    He was the only Superstar in a small market. And he managed to lead the Spurs against the stacked Lakers with Kobe and Shaq in their prime.

      omar arreola The league was really weak then. The NBA from 2003-2007 was fertile ground for teams to swoop in and nab championships. Not to take away anything from the Spurs, their consistency is of course insane and the 2007 team is pretty underrated. But yeah, from 1999 to 2007 they won some soft championships lol.

      @@maxdurk4624 ...2003-2007...i think you must of hit your head during that time period...go back and look who was in the league during that time...if at any point in time the league was weak its now players can't d up anybody cause its a foul every team shooting threes...any team that won a title in 2003 to 2007 is better than any team now...spurs pistons and heat...i would take those teams over any team right now...

    To be fully fair, Robinson had a great playoffs. That's especially true if one considers he was 37. But even so this was the all time individual playoff performance. I don't think the Spurs win any of those 4 series without Duncan playing at an otherworldly level. Dirk's injury is one of the great what-ifs as well. Poor Steve Nash :(

      I wouldn’t say Robinson had a “great” playoffs, but definitely serviceable. That playoff run was all Timmy. Robinson made some key plays here and there but Timmy really was out there battling everyone by himself.
