Hi Yisela Long story short I’m studying to be an EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) Paramedic and this pony made me think of some of the people that have permanent scarring and amputations. Sadly even though the medical staff do the best they can to help a patient somethings will never be perfect (like matching skin tones for some prosthetics and other imperfections), the point is Flutter Bye has been through a rough patch in her past and now she has been given a new chance at life. I’m sure she is very happy with her healed look and is happy to be with the Surgeon/cosmetologist that saved her.
I think my favorite part of this channel is the sheer amount of love you have for all the toys you work on. You take so much care to get things right, even if they don't end up 100% perfect at the end. I'm sure they're all so grateful to have someone like you find and help them
Poor thing looks like she's had a hard life, but I hope that means she's also had a fun life. Toys being in rough shape doesn't always mean they were neglected. It often means they got a lot of love and attention (though in this one's case, that attention seems to have been mainly being chewed on). I actually like seeing toys that have clearly been played with and are otherwise at the end of their lifespan, and seeing them brought back to life.
When I first saw the pony I was like ”oh poor Skydancer”, then I saw her markings & went ”wait is that Flutterby’s markings?”. My brain couldn’t make sense of what it was seeing until you said it was an argentinian variant of Flutterby. So used to seeing an orange Flutterby with winered glittery markings. You took something that many would say is beyond saving & managed to give this poor pony a new life. And I think you did a great job with everything, she looks like she never was that badly damaged but only was slightly scuffed & well loved which is an ok look for a toy that is over 30 years old.
Why do I always get emotional seeing old and damaged toys repaired and restored like this? I guess because it's an act of love and caring. Anyway I think she looks gorgeous, and I LOVE that you saved as much of the original hair as you could.
Your restorations of these ponies - even though they're not IDEALLY perfect, I bet the ponies LOVE them! Including this one - especially since - well, she's been through a lot! Great work, as always!
You remind me so much of myself. I am currently getting into ponies, I've never had them growing up, I personally collect Barbies. But I have found a new thing to collect now lol. Your videos are soothing and your perfectionism is so like mine... I restore Barbies and I am never 100% happy with what I do, even though I like the results. I am a portrait artist and so I do a lot of repaints of my dolls, reroots, body repairs etc.. Sometimes I just don't feel the result! And I've seen in one of your videos that you also have anxiety..i've had it for most of my adult years and yeah, it sucks 😅. But I want you to know that you do a fantastic job and maybe you can see all the "flaws", but trust me, the others don't. Don't be too hard on yourself, your ponies are amazing and they are greatful you are giving them love and a new life 😊 Hugs from Romania!
you did an awesome job - this pony is also stunning in general! this pony reminds me of my own "disaster" pony, a Starshine with cancer spots, no hair (which i find cute so i might keep that as is!), marker spots, rust & mold, nail polish all over, no face and only one ear! she's in hydrogen peroxide treatment right now, the spots are really stubborn :D i love the ponies that are in really bad shape, it's so satisfying to fix them and show them some love :)
Mine was a G3 named Bee Bop, she arrived to me with a burned out section in her mane which I had to detangle and trim because it was all hard and melted into the rest of her hair, yellow highlighter stains all over her face, and a specially horrifying one on the side of her head that really seeped into the vinyl, luckily the hair covers that one spot and I managed to get the marker stains to fade to an inconspicuous level with oxidate cream and some of the nuclear levels of sunlight we got lately here in my country, just a couple of days and as good as new! Can't expose her more because I fear she might turn yellow and light blue ponies start looking a healthy green in those cases, it has already happened to me so this will do for now, is barely noticeable now in the shelf
First, i love your artistry in bringing back something well loved, to almost new condition and second, the music is wonderful and kudos for crediting the songs!
This reminds me of the Masquerade I restored. She was VERY dirty, the inside was covered in rust and she was missing her tail. I got her all clean inside and out and bought some hair to make her a new tail. She looks %100 better and now sits happily on display with the rest of my collection 😊 You did a phenomenal job on Flutterby and I can't wait to see your next project! ❤
Hello there! I didn't realize that you were keeping some of the scars and little imperfections of the pony, but when you shared about it I thought it was actually such a nice idea. These toys have been through so many hands and they deserve to be loved again. It was eye-opening! You're very intentional with your repairs ^^ thank you for sharing! rest well!
Wowee, you're a miracle worker! You gave this little pony the reconstructive surgery of it's life time! It must be feeling so much better now 🥺 Amazing job as always! Keep up your great work!! 🩷
I found your channel pretty recently, but I've fallen in love with your videos!! You explain the restoration process so clearly, and your dedication and love for the craft are clear in your commentary! You've mentioned being from Argentina a few times, and I'm wondering if you'd ever consider doing a video in Spanish? I've been learning the language for years, and I'm always looking for more ways to immerse myself in it!
I have a meeting later and I had to stop watching the video because I was scared to fall asleep 😭 it’s really nice to see you take care of the ponies, your voice is greaat and the musique is good ! It could’ve been my best nap ever !!
You dud an amazing restoration on her. For a 30+ yr old lady she's looking good. I love that lille top curl, so cute. The ghost platter and giraffe cup is so darn cute, especially the giraffe, gosh I would love to own one.❤
Wonder how she ended up like that, but You made her be beautiful and perfect again ❤ I love your videos and your dedication to save ponies and other toys
This looks like it was a lot of fun to work on! And I think you did an awesome colour-match with the yellow for the milliput, you've got a great eye for it! (Also, your nails always look awesome even when covered in paint!)
Yes ❤ A new video with MLP 🥰 I think you made a good job 👍🏻 You show us most of your techniques and it was a joy to see the whole development. 😊 I love your MLP videos and will wait for the next one ❤ Best regards from germany 👋🏻😊
Honestly, I think you did a remarkable job of matching the legs and ears, and I didn't see any of the pink marks you mentioned. I think restyling the hair (I agree with the other commenter about wrapping it around the leg) would take it straight to perfect!
This video created a very special moment for me. My 1 1/2 year old nephew kept coming and watched it with me then going to play this she looks amazing you have improved so mutch since doing a similar restoration on masquerade
i think you've done a spectacular job!! ive seen too many customs/repair artists who pile on acrylic paint and dont care for streaks or lumpy clay add-ons, which you clearly do care to fix
This makes me wish I had held onto my collection of ponies I had as a child. I had about a dozen of them, they were well loved and I took good care of them. I gave them to one of my younger cousins when I was about 16.
Me at the start - 😱😢”oh no” Me at the end - 😍🥰 “so much better “ That was a lovely restoration and if you’re 80% there then I think that’s a success ace job! I also use paint pens for my models for the hard to reach places 😊
Noooo!
aw, she looks like she has been through a lot! I'm sure she feels better and I don't think she cares that you can see the repairs, she's still feeling gorgeous with her new prosthetics. ...huh, that would be a fun custom idea, you could try to find a bait with a very damaged leg and intentionally make the leg repair look like a prosthetic.
This makes my heart so happy! How much do you charge for this? I have several of my Gen 1 ponies whom my daughter decided to color on or feed to the dog and it broke my heart! Others I just want to know how to fix their hair myself, but my very first ones from 83 who are in rough shape? They need a professional touch!
also to keep in mind! acetone works greats on soft vinyl ponies but it can degrade/melt other plastics. I know in particular I was using it on the body of a monster high doll and it melted her arms. using a nail polish remover with low volume of acetone would be best for other harder plastic toys.
Can you make a pretty bald pony? Maybe fill in the holes and give it a nice hat or some accessories? You can keep the tail or remove that too, I would love to see what you come up with!
I’m not sure if this product is in the UK, but it’s called “CLR” (stands for calcium, lime, rust remover), and I wonder if it would be safe for using on the vinyl of ponies? It’s great for plumbing and tile, so I wonder if it would be okay on inorganic/synthetic materials. I can’t find the video I saw of the pink pony you posted with such severe rust stains from the metal tail washer than it had rusted through, but I think it might be worth looking into! I keep meaning to mention it whenever I see the mega rust videos, but it might be easier than the toothpaste removal!
I never knew the reason for Argentinian ponies being different from thier us counterparts was the manufactures not following the same guidelines as Hasbro. I always assumed it was a purposeful marketing gimmick to appeal to collectors. Like how TY would sometimes make slightly altered versions of their Beanie Babies to make them seem more valuable to collectors.
Poor pony, see broken toys just breaks my heart, I think you made her gorgeous no matter how many errors there were.
I agree… it feels like seeing an injured person!!! I love seeing them restored.
What makes me feel better is attributing the damage to being well loved and worn
Rags to riches that’s what I see it as
Broken toys make me sad too and old abandoned farms😢

Even ponies need to floss evidently. 😊 Lovely to see such a neglected little poppet being given som TLC.
I like when you style the hair around the pony’s body. It’s a softer look and reminds me how they were as a child. Still cute!
Why do I always get emotional seeing old and damaged toys repaired and restored like this? I guess because it's an act of love and caring. Anyway I think she looks gorgeous, and I LOVE that you saved as much of the original hair as you could.
The color matching looks really close to me! What a huge transformation. The prostetic leg idea sounds lovely if you find the right pony for it.
Your restorations of these ponies - even though they're not IDEALLY perfect, I bet the ponies LOVE them! Including this one - especially since - well, she's been through a lot! Great work, as always!
Wow. That must've taken a lot of work. That pony was in such a state of disrepair. I'm super impressed!
She's so lucky to have you
I absolutely adore seeing these toys being given a second breath of life, ready to be played with again :)
You remind me so much of myself. I am currently getting into ponies, I've never had them growing up, I personally collect Barbies. But I have found a new thing to collect now lol. Seeing how damaged and abused she was hurt my heart. Thank you for giving poor ponies a chance
That poor pony! What kind of life did you live? Good thing she found her way to you! 🙂Love your music choices this time around!
She looks lovely! I think you did a really good job with her leg repair and her tail is really cute!
Riesenrespekt!! Man merkt wie stolz und glücklich das kleine Pony ist❤
the music you used for the milliput molding when repairing the body was so magical. made the whole sequence breathtaking.
Your sculpting skills just never stops to amaze me.
What a beautiful outcome for a Pony that really looked hopeless ❤
OMG, YOU GAVE HER LIIIFE!💖
I absolutely love your restorations, your god tier with them
you did an awesome job - this pony is also stunning in general! this pony reminds me of my own "disaster" pony, a Starshine with cancer spots, no hair (which i find cute so i might keep that as is!), marker spots, rust & mold, nail polish all over, no face and only one ear! she's in hydrogen peroxide treatment right now, the spots are really stubborn :D i love the ponies that are in really bad shape, it's so satisfying to fix them and show them some love :)
that poor starshine went through hell 😭
it really did.. i'd honestly want to know what adventures this pony went on because literally everything is wrong with it 🫠
Mine was a G3 named Bee Bop, she arrived to me with a burned out section in her mane which I had to detangle and trim because it was all hard and melted into the rest of her hair, yellow highlighter stains all over her face, and a specially horrifying one on the side of her head that really seeped into the vinyl, luckily the hair covers that one spot and I managed to get the marker stains to fade to an inconspicuous level with oxidate cream and some of the nuclear levels of sunlight we got lately here in my country, just a couple of days and as good as new! sounds like you did a great job, highlighter stains are a pain to remove!
What are cancer spots in this context? I hope you were able to fix that poor pony 🩷
She looks pretty. I like her curls on her tail and her superman curl😊❤❤❤
I'm sure when her owner saw the repairs and held her they cried tears of joy to have their friend healthy and whole once again.❤
Thank you so much for the captions, music titles, and chapters! It's amazing how much effort you put into your videos ♡
I love watching restorations especially when the toy is like this. I feel bad especially seeing toy story lol
The color match watch perfect
First, i love your artistry in bringing back something well loved, to almost new condition and second, the music is wonderful and kudos for crediting the songs!
Fantastic job!!! ❤️❤️❤️👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I love her!! The colour matching was spot on :D

this background music, i don't remember if you've used it before, but it is so incredibly soothing to me, thank you
She's so happy now!! 😍❤
She looks so much better!
I love seeing all these variants!! It makes it so unique.
You did a wonderful job. It was lovely to watch you bring this pony back to life ❤
Wow, truly amazing work on this one.

Es que los ponys delos años 80 ❤ me dan ternura 😊 son preciosos
I have been inspired to restore and customize ponies from watching your videos
This makes me wish I had held onto my collection of ponies I had as a child. I had about a dozen of them, they were well loved and I took good care of them. I gave them to one of my younger cousins when I was about 16.
this came at the perfect time

I love your videos! The hair styling is so hard xD I can never get it right on my ponies either.
Thank you for what you do!!! I just tagged you in my first repair attempt(s). xoxox
This pony’s been through a lot
Very nice❤
Noooo! Morí! Yo tenía ese Pony cuando era chiquita, llegué a tener 6 en total, entre ellos el alado ese, el unicornio y el arco iris. Sopapo de nostalgia me diste 😢😂❤
0:24 dang someone was hungry
I love this pony pose
Some help? That pony needs tons. Glad you got a hold of her!
You give yourself too little credit. This turned out amazing!
This gonna be great
omg you found a cure to the everfree virus infection,,,
Me encanta ver cómo le das nueva vida a estos juguetes :')
Por cierto, ¿alguna vez probaste usar suavizante de tela en vez de acondicionador? Con las pelocas de cosplay deja muy lindo resultado, capaz te sirve también para los pony.
Fabulous 😊I
If you use fabric softener it works way better than conditioner.
Have you thought about dabbing the paint on with a sponge? I think that might help with blending between colours
What do you do with all these ponies when you are done? Bo you have them on a shelf? If so pleas show us
My little pony has so many other related shows and so many seasons i’m only on the original show and season 3 😭
aw, she looks like she has been through a lot! I'm sure she feels better and I don't think she cares that you can see the repairs, she's still feeling gorgeous with her new prosthetics.

Where did you get the little curlers you use for your pony's hair? They're so small and cute
Hello, what glue do you use to reattach the head? Is it the fabric glue listed in the description? Love your videos!
Hi! Oh, good point, I forgot to add it. I use superglue, or gorilla glue :)
@@RetroGeekCraftsthank you!

impressive end result, but wow the starting state of this one, did the dog get it's teeth on it?
