it was about 3 am I went in to time it arriving about daybreak a couple hours later I saw the sidewinder as soon as I left the van--I was not even 60 seconds into the hike.
I would like to but even to get to the area is distance and money and damaging to my van. once there its a massive area to search and I am not up to it go climb up to even higher altitude when even though I am sure the area he is is not far its still a massive area combine with people have looked in the general area but impossible to search every inch and bushes alone hide areas. This also combined with he could have at least a little bit--tried to hide the spot he shot himself making it even worse.
general lack of support for what should be teams and each person simply goes up alone and does what they can in a few hours which isnt much and is generally walking along a general hiking path then declaring the area cleared or searched even though most bodies are found right where people were searching.
@@jaysilverheals4445 Yeah, its expensive to get out there and very bad on vehicles. I destroyed a radiator bouncing down Joe May early on. I was planning on doing a couple more hikes after the Really Robin canyon one but I pulled a basketball sized boulder out of the wall and it smashed my foot into the gravel so hard that I ended up in a walking boot for a month and it still aches. Its not fit enough yet for that terrain. There are just so few hikers who are capable and willing to go out there that we get very few videos anymore. I figured since you were back out in those cliffs at night that you are fit again and might be planning another M cave hike.
@@jefcla1172 ive come close but the place I would go is the really robin canyon to go up to try to find and document the rock then go up--and down the other side past the guzzler then back to the van. Being 71 I have no infrastructure of friends for me to strike a deal to go up in someone elses vehicle plus it involves if taken up I have to get back either they do the hike with me or maybe come back so it would be complex plus my oil pan scrapes them rocks right from the very start
@@jaysilverheals4445 Ive already done Really Robins canyon and showed the rock. That is where I almost broke my foot. If my foot had broke instead of just gotten smashed, I probably wouldnt be here now. There is no signal in that canyon and no easy way out. The only reason I was able to film the rock at all was that my foot was so numb, I didnt feel the pain yet. The route you are suggesting is so brutal that it is probably not doable in one day. If at all. Yeah, you have to take a rental 4x4 out there, thats what I do. Since my foot is still not fully healed, I would rent one for you for a couple days just to get more boots on the ground but I dont want to send someone else out into that terrain. I came very close to not coming back myself. Very close, if my foot had been on rock and not gravel to absorb some of the shock, Im not sure what would have been the outcome of that hike.
So pretty, nice pictures
Great video sir. What time did you find the first one at night time?

You are back at these hardcore hikes so why not go for Kenny/M cave?
