The Derailers have been one of the keepers of the Buck Owens style of Country Music and Rockabilly dating back to the mid nineties. One of the staples of their live show is "Hey Valerie." They recently stopped by and performed it for us on the Crown Royal Texas Stage.

These guys did an in-store show at a record store I worked at as a 19 year old in Minneapolis back in 97 or 98? Reverb Deluxe era I believe. I was almost completely ignorant about county music and these dudes made me a fan. They gave me comps to their show at First Ave that night. Great guys, superb band. Still grateful for the experience ! I wish someone would press their work on some slick vinyl LPs.
I've known them since 95, their bass player is great friend of mine
I first saw the Derailers in Austin in 1994 downtown on 6th st. When Tony was the lead vocalist, had all their albums at one time. Never sounded quite the same after Tony left.
it was his choice to leave, the band went on, but it's not the same
When in Austin, must stop is the Broken Spoke on Thursday nights to watch the supreme swing dancers shuffle to The Derailers. These dudes are beyond legit.
These guys are cooler than the other side of the pillow
they can rock the house anytime
one of my favorite bands of all time
well done !!! rockin' !!
Amazing country music, Amazing musicians, I play this song at public events and its a dancer every time, there guys should do more rockabilly. Rock them licks the coolist cats in the cave. FYI I bought the CD you should to😎🇺🇸

Bitchin’! What is the instrumental tune playing in the background during the verbal intro?
Just not the same without Tony Villanueva.
Yup not the same

Brian helland is a great singer, but the detailers aren't the same without Tony Villanueva in the fold.
Brian looks like he might be Nicholas Cage's cousin
