Nice to see young people appreciating hawker food. Many hidden gems and taste better than most restaurants in malls or cafes in my opinion (and cheaper too!) sadly most of my friends strongly refuse to go to hawkers.. quite sad this generation. Anw I always eat hawker so the queue for popular stalls being 45 mins on a weekday is very normal indeed
Initially the title gave a vibe of ‘aiya this is a norm for us locals la’.. but it felt different when u and your beau opened up and shared your gate-kept 私藏 laksa 🫰🏼 Of course it will be even better if the itinerary is kept to Hawker centres (open-concept places built by govt) in accordance with your title 😊
I love Ji Ji wanton mee and yy kafei Dian’s yuan yang!!! And actually opp granny’s pancake is this stall called SLII muffin, their egg tarts are TO DIE FOR!!!! It tastes like the le cafe beancurd tart and the tart base is super fragrant, should give it a try!!!
omggg weee!! YES I saw quite the queue at SLII muffin stall! Okie I shall go and try it out! Sounds like a good TEA TIME snack 😗 thank you for the recommendations!!
@@imfelyn Round the corner just two shops away there's a 津津 coffeeshop which also sells equally nice Hainanese Chinese Rice. That area (including Purvis Street) was formally the Hainanese quarters (aka Hainan Street 1 to 3) during early days of settlement and our famous Hainanese Chicken Rice was founded from one of the stalls/shops there. FYI.
The most I heard Regis talk coz the laksa open him up naturally haha Btw 2 recommendation around CBD if you free to see see mee chang kueh with Biscoff @lau pa sat munchi scrambled eggs luncheon meat rice @maxwell food center dan lao

alot of those mukbangers dont eat alot on the days that they dont upload videos... they eat really light n healthy... like a salad and smoothies and exercise alot inbetween to keep their weight managed.... also the kaya spread i got in a asian market here in st louis was also brown... but it was a indonesian brand n not from singapore...
Good for you but the laksa place that you went for the first food on this video is not a hawker centre food. It's a coffeeshop place, which is kind of not the same. But all the food shown here seem really yummy!
