Attempt to get another Finger of The Fist. 1:20:41 The Thumb, angry at the travesty which occurred. Slams The Middle into the ground. 1:22:10 They then recruit a new member to act as a replacement for The Ring. 1:29:24 The Index, ever the legend, Volunteers to go back and search for what remains of The Ring. Finding to his dismay nothing more than her leg. 1:33:18 The Index, in a effort to recoup their losses. Goes on a thieving spree in the town to get new equipment. Only to realize later they are not in fact poor. 1:55:13 Once more they head out. Putting their grieving for The Ring behind them. For in this world death is a constant companion. 2:32:24 They are later attacked by bandits. 2:47:57 The Index has women problems. 3:13:33 The first house of their outpost is created 3:50:44 The Tax man comes to collect. 4:10:15 The Index finally falls 4:36:25 Beep (the Index) leads a giant beast into a small village and then is attacked by cannibals.
It's mind blowing when your taxes are replaced by sunday church. God forbid you miss sunday church or lose your bible. You don't want to end up in the mines son...
Jesus that Beak Thing attack was so stressful, the way you handled that was amazing, you kept your composure and only made it out losing easily the worst member.
That moment when the one that was chasing Thumb and Middle came sprinting toward the gate to finish the job actually made me say oh shit out loud. It was like the final scene from a horror movie where the killer comes screaming out of the house-fire in a desperate attempt to kill the barely living protagonist.
Actualy everything he did was wrong not amazing, no one had to die and he even could beat the first 2 since those are just vanilla weaklings. He even could avoid the whole encounter entirely, just be smart and avoid vain entirely if can't fight since it would only take 1-2 minutes more to run arround the vain on the edge of border zone.
@@nightymoon205 Avoiding Vain would have meant knowing what was in it to begin with, he didn't have that info beforehand. Also I don't know if you saw but that was a whole pack of them, 1 aggroed and the rest just flooded in. You have to give him credit for not getting wiped especially when the whole situation was unprecedented. Also Beak things have base stats of 35, and since they're animals it only grows the older it is so even with 5 people he would have had a hard time fighting them.

I am really enjoying this series, but I also really love the fact that Criken and Tamto have very similar thumbnails, yet they're still unique to each other

Semi-spoiler for people that haven't watched an hour in: I find it ironic how after living in one of the harshest and inhospitable environments (and thriving) for a month, after leaving the Fog Lands for 10 minutes they have 3 injured 1 dead due to forces outside the Canyon.
Yeah, Fog Islands aren't that bad, Vain however is a hell hole. It's one of the places I never enter since there is nothing of Value there and all the Beak Things you can Imagine.
Vain is the worst in that all the wildlife is usually aggressive and really strong. The fog lands are a problem when you start to get outnumbered and or injured.
Best area for training sneak is the Northern Coast. Incredibly dangerous but the large groups of "friendly body-paint enthusiasts" mean that you can actually gain a level or 2 every drive-by. Also good for toughness and lockpicking when it inevitably goes wrong
Vetran Kenshi player here to backseat in the vod 2 years later. Whenever a character is about to wake up from being unconscious set them to sneak. It saves lives and if your character has crippled legs and they wake up stealthed then they get a stupid stealth bonus for being prone and at times even people adjacent to you wont even notice your there.
Fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva is where skin turns to bone but I think tomto is thinking of Epidermodysplasia verruciformis aka "tree mans disease" is where a tree bark looking material starts growing on the skin, if you don't want to look at images imagine the heads of clickers from the last of us but on hands or feet
Hackers are good at breaking beak things. I think hackers block slow attacks better. My run was where my main character made a quarry and just kind of did business and researched stuff while also doing runs into the wilderness for certain relics.
Cheat Engine with no Table,, just use the Speedhack option. Fair warning though, it shatters the game's stability and corrupts any music and most audio until you reopen the game. Also the AI completely shits itself too.
To be fair, Fruit Man didn't bother to go out of Vain when it has very high Beak Thing spawn rates. Less bad pathfinding, more not knowing what's in an Area.
Some Backpacks stack better in others but there are multiple different backpack mods that make them stack to 50+, Have no Penalties or just basically be a pocket dimension.
